Fash Love: IN2IT Lasting Lipstick in Lustful Red

I've always been a fan of the big, bold red lipstick. Whenever I get the chance to sport them, I do exploit the opportunity! Even when you're wearing a basic tee or shorts, pairing it with red lips can give serious oomph into your entire ensemble. For the longest time, I've been using EB's Scarlet and Love that Red matte lipsticks but I've stumbled onto a new fashion find that I love - IN2IT Lustful Red lipstick. As early as now, I can guarantee that this will get a re-stock on my makeup kit. I bought mine from Watson's for P465 (approximately $11).

Here are some of the reasons why I love this lipstick shade:

1. It is very easy to apply. Simply run it through your lips and your puckers are coated with its lustful red color! Unlike a matte lipstick that you sometimes need to apply lip balm as base, there is no need for that.

2. The color is a fiery red to bring about sexy and beautiful puckers!

3. It is long lasting. Hence, no need to re-apply it as often as you would with most lipsticks!

4. It is hypoallergenic and created with up to SPF15 sunscreen protection. Say goodbye to dry, irritated lips!

5. As easy as it is to apply, it is also just as easy to remove!

Celebrity Handbags for Less

I am guilty of following celebrity fashion and trends but that does not mean that I give into the impulse of buying expensive items, especially if I know that I can get similar items for less! Us, ladies, are very particular about our handbags. There has to be one particular style for every occasion or look. However, there is no need to go broke because I stumbled into some equally fab but cheaper alternatives to be in style!

Pop of Red

Aside from blue and mustard, red is another favorite color of mine to wear. The color seems to suit my complexion (I'd like to think). Plus, I like sporting a red and bold lipstick, so I figured it only makes sense to go matchy with my outfit, right? There is something fierce and sexy about the color red that I am drawn to. I especially love red with white in stripes - there is something so casually cool and chic about it.

Hence, you can only imagine my awe when I was browsing online, doing my usual rounds of window shopping, and stumbled upon these gorgeous red, backless evening dresses! I am still hard at work looking for a bridesmaid dress to wear to my cousin's wedding this November, and while I was contemplating on getting a short dress, the sophisticated styles that I found made me want to reconsider.

Any thoughts on how to style red pieces?

Eyelet LBD

My recent weekend was packed! I did not even know where it went... but the good part was I spent it with special folks in my life and had a major blast! Saturday was spent at the boyf's aunt's house for a major get-together for his cousin's birthday. There were lots of seafood, so naturally I wasn't able to resist getting more bite than I have to. And on Sunday, I spent time with my side of the family for my niece's baptism! Lots of fun too!

I wore this new eyelet LBD to Sunday's event. I felt like wearing a dress that day and this came in handy because I recently bought it and was waiting at my closet for me to wear them. I accessorized it with the multi-colored bauble necklace that the boyf gifted me along with my favorite cateye sunnies. For the footwear, I went basic with the black sequined flats - also a favorite!

What were you up to this past weekend?

Style Crush: Bloggers Fave #2

A cute frock is one of my biggest weaknesses. Indeed, you can find one of every style and color in my closet. It's my go-to option when I have nothing else to wear in mind or when I want to look extra chic without much effort. A cute frock never disappoints!

Hence, I was quickly drawn to a theme when I was scouring my picks for this week's fashion blogger faves. These ladies rocked feminine styles in skirts and dresses that were colorful, fun, and looked effortlessly stylish! Read on below to see my picks for this past week:

Fash Love: Sass & Bide Fall RTW 2013

The Sass & Bide 2013 Fall RTW collection caught my eye because of its shiny, vinyl garments that provided the right amount of color without losing its sophisticated touch. There is also a future craft approach to the design as characterized by strident and clean design elements. And even when there are embellishments, they're incorporated with such precision.

But more importantly, I appreciate that these designs are something that would work for daily wear (although a bit more stepped up fashionably speaking). You can view my top picks below:
