How to Pick the Right Earrings c/o TBDress.com

Us, women, wear earrings almost everyday. We think we know all we have to know about choosing which earrings to wear - or probably do not give it enough attention. But really, what difference can a pair of earrings make, right? Well, heads up, it is time you take a few considerations into mind in choosing which earrings to wear. You have to find one that complements your face shape. Read on below for a quick guide:

Round Face

If you have a round face characterized by full and cherub cheeks, go for long earrings (preferably rectangular or those with elongated shape). This will create balance in your face shape so it will look slimmer. Hence, you must also steer away from wearing studs, hoops or other circular shaped earrings.

Here are some picks of mine:

Long Face

Naturally, if your face shape is elongated, you need to go for earrings that create more shape and add width. Avoid wearing long earrings. Check out some of these round shaped earrings:

Heart Shaped Face

A heart shaped face is characterized by having a pointed chin. You can balance this out with long, chandelier-type or water drop earrings in order to fill in the bottom half of the face.

Oval Face

Oval face shapes are the luckiest. They can wear any style of earrings, so you are free to choose whatever you want and it will still look good.

Square Jaw

Women with square jaw can soften up their look by choosing earrings that have round edges or oval shape. Hence, pearl studs or hoop earrings are your best bet.

Pattern Mixing: Floral + Chevron

I used to be scared about pattern mixing but since I tried it for the first time, I am finding myself becoming bolder and more experimental with it. My latest look showcases that. This chevron stripes scarf is the newest addition to my scarf collection. Hence, I did not hesitate to wear it with my floral dress one day when I was out and about. I love how big of a difference a simple addition of a scarf brought to this dress.

As you might have noticed, I am donning a braided hairstyle once again. This time, it is a braided ponytail. I love experimenting with my hair recently. It does not hurt that it adds another layer to the look. Meanwhile, my comfy cobalt criss-cross flats add the finishing touch to my look.
