Coral & Lace

When coral became a hot trend in 2013, I could remember gushing about it. I saw a lot of beautiful bloggers showcasing this color in various styles and forms. To my surprise, I do not own a single coral piece (save for the scarf that the boyf gifted to me) in my closet. But when I saw this coral maxi skirt as I was shopping one day, I could not get myself to put it back on the rack.

As you can see, I went all-out glam with this look. I find that there is a feminine quality to coral. I decided to go extra glam with this new statement necklace I got from Persunmall and my halter lace top. I've also added a sleek ponytail into the mix so it makes the neckline highly prominent. To say this is one of my favorite looks as of late is a bit of an understatement.

What's your thought on coral?

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Siren

I have a bias towards red-orange lipstick shades like EB's Scarlet so it was not surprising why I picked Siren on my recent shopping trip. This lipstick shade is part of the Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick line that are known for its LiquiSilk formula. The lipstick is formulated with mega moisturizers to lock in color and to keep your lips soft. In addition, the lipstick formula is creamy and smooth in texture for ease of application and even wear. It is a big shift for a matte lipstick lover like me, but I do like it. The swatch looked especially gorgeous - simple yet noticeable.

Siren is a cheerful sunny orange shade (lighter than Scarlet) with some coral undertones. It is a bit light when you apply the first coat. Hence, 2-3 swipes can give you that warm orange glow to your lips. Even though the formula is sheer, it can last for several hours. In fact, the color looks better and more vibrant the longer it sits on your lips.

The only downside to the Super Lustrous lipstick from Revlon is that the pigmentation highlights any dry flakes or patches on the lips. It is therefore important to smoothen out your lips prior to application for a soft and smooth finish. Or, you can moisturize your lips to solve the problem.

Have you tried Revlon's Siren? I'd love to hear your thoughts, too.

Getting Glam: Persunmall

Since I was first introduced to Persunmall, I had been an avid fan. It is one of the most reliable online shops I've encountered that offer worldwide shipping (free, if your order reaches a minimum of $15 - although I believe they now offer free worldwide shipping with no minimum required) and have quality products to boot. The site is updated daily so you have new and more stocks to choose from to suit your shopping convenience.

The dress that I am wearing is Persunmall's Contrast Black Sleeve with Trumpet Hem. It is sold for $15.99! Steal, I know. It is made with linen so the fabric stretches to fit your body shape, giving you perfect fit all the time. The trumpet hem also adds a flirty but fun touch to the look. I accessorized the dress with Persunmall's Green Diamond Chain Necklace. I also loved adding the hot pink shoes into the mix just for the fun element without losing the glam feel.
