Floral is one of my all-time favorite patterns. Even though half of my closet is probably filled with floral items (no kidding), I still find myself buying floral prints! Case in point: this floral swing cami top from Shein. Ever had that moment wherein you see an item in an online shop and you literally gasped? I had one of those moments when browsing this cami top at Shein.

But there is one new trend that I love as much as I do floral: tassel. This isn't the first time that I've expressed my love for tassel since I've already done so here. I just got my first tassel earrings and this tassel necklace from Wild Juniper Designs is going to get a lot of wear. This necklace literally goes with anything and adds a fun but stylish element to any outfit. In this look, it adds some oomph to the casual chic look.

Do you love floral and tassel too?

Hat Attack

I've never been a hat girl. They didn't appeal to me and I think I never looked good on them. But when I bought my first straw hat, I fell in love with it. I love how it adds to an outfit, especially in your summer style. Pair it with a cute sundress, you have a rocking summer outfit. It's been a while since I last bought one and I think my one and only straw hat needs a new friend. Thus, I've collected some of the ones that I've added to my online shopping wishlist to get your pulse on this.

Cream Lace Hat (here and here)
Billabong Floppy Straw Hat
Dark Grey Sun Hat
White Pom-Pom Large Brim Hat
Khaki Striped Hat
Vacation Bow Brimmed Straw Hat
Red Raw Trim Brimmed Hat
Eugenia Kim Bunny Hat
Artesano Playa Crochet Hat

Which of these hats should I get?

Uncommon Goods + Unique Gift Ideas

I am of the opinion that accessories and jewelries can elevate a simple outfit. Even when you are wearing a simple tee and jeans, pairing it with the right accessories can transform the outfit. Therefore, I always relish the idea of stumbling upon a website that offers unique jewelry options. When I was introduced to Uncommon Goods, I knew right away that this would be a great website to support. You can check out the website's unique collection of handmade jewelry here

Jewelry is and always will be a classic gift idea for special occasions like weddings, bridal showers, birthdays and more. You will be spoiled for choice at Uncommon Goods; just check it out for yourself on their website. Full Bloom

Dress: Shein (c/o)
Earrings: Kenneth Jay Lane

I have an extensive collection of maxi dresses and to say that this is my favorite of them all is saying a lot...but I'm going to say it still. This is my favorite maxi dress that I've gotten from Shein yet. The gorgeous print caught my eye instantly. The color and the halter neckline (both my favorites) were only bonuses that made me not think twice when I saw this on the website. It has a beautiful pattern and fit that was everything I imagined the perfect maxi dress would be. Oh, and did I tell you it's only $25?

The dress is purely breathtaking on its own so I won't try to overshadow it with too much accessories. In fact, I only wore my classic pair of pearl earrings from Kenneth Jay Lane. For a glam outfit or evening look, a clutch will come in handy too. I love that the dress is dramatically long - you therefore have the option to wear it with wedges for day wear and a dressier pair of high heels for evening wear. If you're petite (like me), you can easily get it hemmed in, of which I am planning to get done since it trains even with my wedges.

Turquoise Temptation

Turquoise, or any shades of blue, has been one of my favorite colors of all time (cobalt takes the first spot). I love the cheery, bright and easy-to-the-eyes effect of these color hues. For this reason, they're a great option for summer. Today, I am showcasing a few turquoise pieces from Charming Charlie that are too irresistible in this hot weather. Whether you're looking for dresses, sandals or accessories, I got you covered with my picks:

1 - Jenna Trapeze Dress
2 - Princess Stone Earrings
3 - Deborah Buckle Sandals
4 - Anabella Printed Kimono
5 - Seaside Split Back Tank
6 - Breezy Stripes Infinity Scarf
7 - Studdingly Beautiful Wristlet
8 - Fira High Low Maxi Dress

The great thing about this color is that it pairs well with other colors that aren't neutral. Hence, they are great options when you want to have fun or play up with colors. According to style experts, turquoise looks best when paired with bright white, navy blue or lavender. Are you a fan of turquoise?

Wishlist: Choker Necklaces

Back in the early 2000s or late 90's, chokers were a huge deal! But like most trends, it has been revived today and is now one of the top fashion trends. Personally, I wasn't a big fan at first but I have started to warm up to the trend seeing how it can easily be worked into glam outfits! The versatility of choker necklaces also open up more styling possibilities so you are not limited to the basic black choker necklaces. You can opt for semi-jeweled or colored ones, too.

Vanessa Mooney Choker Necklace

Turquoise Choker Necklace
Rebecca Minkoff Bead Collar Necklace
Kenneth Jay Lane Layered Choker Necklace
Ben-Amun Choker Necklace
Layered Clover Pendant Choker Necklace
Black Minimalist Choker Necklace
Layered Studs Embellishment Necklace

There are several ways to style a choker necklace. The most obvious one is to wear it over a turtleneck top. It is the easiest way to pull of a street style chic outfit. But if you want a more boheme vibe, you can wear your choker with a long, layered necklace. You can also pair it with a sundress and boots to make it look even more boho.

But since choker necklace is basically a retro trend, you can pair it with retro pieces to create that particular style. If you have other suggestions on how to wear the choker necklace trend, I'd love to hear them below!

Red and Pink With Zaful

Dress: Zaful (c/o)
Earrings: Adia Kibur
Watch: JORD (c/o)
Shoes: Mendrez (similar)

Have I told you how much I love red dresses? If you've been here before, chances are I have. When I found this dress at Zaful, it was love at first sight. I've been let down by Zaful a few times in the past but the items that I got from the website that I love, well I really loved! And this red off-shoulder flutter sleeve dress rightfully belongs to the second category.

Dress: Zaful (c/o)
Earrings: Adia Kibur
Watch: JORD (c/o)
Shoes: Mendrez (similar)

Aside from the bold pop of color, what I love most about red dresses is that they tend to stand alone. I wanted to soften the look a little bit with my pair of light pink pumps and a bouquet of fresh light pink roses. I incorporated them into this shoot because I love how the red and pink looked together. Going back to the dress, aside from the fact that the fabric can get wrinkled easily, I have nothing to say against it. And oh, did I tell you it's only $19!

If you love this dress, you can check out Zaful on Facebook or Instagram to see more goodies!
