All About That Lace

If there is anything that I love equally as floral, it's lace. Lace was a huge trend in 2014 and I could not have been more excited because I loved the fabric already. And now the trend has waned down a bit but I have continued to wear lace like it's 2014. Ha!

I was browsing through Showinbuy's selection of fabulous dresses and this lace shift dress caught my eye. I loved its use of lace as an accent to not only bring dramatic flair to the shoulders but also give it that glam feel. Aside from the lace, its the light pink color that got me on the first sight. You can get it at a huge discount from its original $51 price tag to less than $20 here. 

The only downside to this dress was that it was a little too sheer. I was expecting it to be somewhat sheer because it is made with chiffon but I had to take it to the tailor to get fixed (I had to have some lining added to the dress). And it's good to go now! Classic Lace

There is something about lace that makes putting together elegant outfits seem effortless. Hence, I always turn to lace when I want to create subtly elegant looks. This lace dress from Showinbuy is definitely one of my favorites during my shopping haul at the website. As a self-confessed lace lover, it's not hard to tell why.

The peach pink color made this dress look more elegant and delicate than it already is. And for something priced at less than $20 the quality is unmatched. I almost did not pick out this dress as I was browsing through their website. But then, lace is a trendy piece with a timeless appeal - therefore it makes for a good investment piece in my closet. You can also find lots of great women's dresses from Showinbuy's website at good prices. You can buy from them if you want to try out trends but still stick to your shopping budget. 

A pair of nude heels and red chain clutch injected more glam into the outfit. I am also loving the purple lens sunglasses I got from Sunnies Studios - it's my new favorite in my growing sunglasses collection!

 

Asymmetrical Trend

As always, I am late to jump on the asymmetrical trend bandwagon. I was not a big fan of the trend actually and this has kept me from buying anything with an asymmetrical hem. But when I collaborated with Showinbuy, I decided maybe it was a good time to give it a shot.

I am more of an LBD type of girl so I'd admit that white dresses are a rarity in my closet. However, I would like to add more of these white dresses because, like an LBD, they are a good investment piece that can be worn throughout the year. And after discovering women's dresses available at Showinbuy, I knew it wouldn't be too hard on my budget if I do. This asymmetrical hem dress costs less than $16!

Also, can I just share my love for this gorgeous multi-colored tennis bracelet from Soufeel? They are too pretty for words! I suggest getting them if you want to add a glam element to your outfit.

Blue Floral

This summer, several trends like off-shoulder styles, fringe or pom poms, and tribal prints emerged to offer women easy to wear styles suited for the hot weather. But when all else fails, I turn to floral to create an effortless summer style. The good thing about wearing floral is that it is a timeless pattern, much like stripes, and it will never disappoint in the fashion department. Such is the case with this blue floral dress from Showinbuy.

I guess floral is a universally loved pattern (correct me if I am wrong), but what is there not to love about floral really? This dress in particular really drew me in with its vibrant floral prints against my favorite color. The quality is a welcome surprise given its price point. I would definitely pay more for this quality. The material is also a great choice in hot weather because it is fresh and light. This look is my quintessential outfit for the summer time. I paired the dress with my La Mer Cantaloupe Arizona watch for a pop of color, along with my pastel nails. And the gorgeous bowknot crystal earrings from Soufeel provided the right amount of glam.
