When Shopbop offers a sale, you can bet your money that it will be a good one. This one in particular is something that I am personally excited about. This is a Boutique sale, which means you will have a chance to purchase designer items on a discounted price. That does not happen often and it's the perfect opportunity to scratch a few designer items off your wishlist. When it comes to shopping sales at Shopbop, I always look at the shoes and bag section first. It's no secret that lace is one of my favorite things to wear and that blue (cobalt, in particular) is my favorite color. Just imagine my excitement when I saw this dress at Dresslink. My eyes widened with excitement. I do that a lot when I spot a top or dress I love off the rack in a boutique. Without hesitation, I clicked the add to cart button.

At its price, this dress exceeded expectation. It makes for a regal look despite its simplicity in style. It has the right amount of modern flair because of the unconventional color on the dress and the touches of modern accessories (case in point: my gold clutch). I could definitely see myself re-creating this look as a wedding guest - I just seem to get that kind of vibe from the dress.
