Dressgal Kimono

Kimonos are one of my favorite trends this year. I know I am slightly late on the trend, as I've always been, but it's just that I haven't been able to find that one kimono that I would be willing to invest in. My criteria for a good kimono has to be something with a timeless touch to it. And this is where this floral kimono comes in...

This kimono is from Dressgal. It is light, pretty and versatile. For a floral lover like me, it is a unique way to incorporate this print into my outfit - as an accent rather than the main piece. If you're interested in getting this kimono, it is also available in black for less than $10 here.

It took me a while to embrace the kimono trend. I am more of a cardigan girl. But when the temperature goes up during summer time, it is only practical to switch to lighter fabrics. I have to admit that floral still is my favorite print, though. I also like to convert kimono as a cover-up for the beach, which further adds to the reasons why it is a smart investment piece for summer.
