Fash Love: Statement Necklace

Statement necklaces had been my recent obsession. Since I got my first one, I can't help but keep adding some more into my collection. I want one of every style and color! Adding statement necklaces is a simple yet effective technique to wear timeless pieces in your wardrobe and give it a modern twist. Heck, you can even wear a plain tee and add a statement necklace and you would've a truly edgy style!

These super adorable statement necklaces I picked from Persunmall. I recently found out about this website and are quite impressed with what I found there. They have lots of cute pieces for less, too.

Aren't you just crazy about these cute necklaces?

Style Crush: Blogger Faves #5

My fashion love list continues to grow by the day... my love for lace, floral and sheer are probably notable because most of the outfits I feature here in the blog (and those in my closet) are made of these fabrics! But thanks to our ever stylish fashion blogger friends, I can proudly say that my choices have expanded and now more open to trying out different fabrics and patterns. However, you can't help but feel impressed when you see other bloggers don basic pieces and turn them into head-turning ensembles. A simple top paired with the right skirt or jeans, or adding a small touch of detail i.e. a necklace or blazer perhaps, can do wonders to any look!

Below are some of my newest style inspirations. Deanne and Kacie are just some of those bloggers that I'd been following for a long time and whose styles I adore to the hilt. But Karly Kim, Liz, and Ashley are some of the new bloggers that I've discovered who quickly turned me into a fan with their styles that are uniquely theirs.

Which is your favorite in this week's picks?

Peach Peplum

My hunt for the perfect peplum top is over! I had been obsessing over this particular trend for a long time but I wasn't just about to grab the first peplum top that I see. I was looking for a plain peplum top because I was up for a classic style and most of those that I found were patterned ones. Yes, I can be picky like that!

But the wait was totally worth it. I mean, how can you not love peplum? It exudes elegant sophistication for a style that is so simple and minimalistic. This peach peplum top was the perfect addition to my closet because it is feminine and delicate. I decided to accentuate the look with the orange geometric necklace that I recently picked up to break up the delicateness and give it a fun twist.

I wore this outfit on date night with the boyf. We had dinner at a posh, fine dining French restaurant wherein we had a blast with our delicious meal that included live band playing music and excellent service!

Are you a fan of peplum, too?

Fash Love: LK Bennett

I am currently working on market research for LK Bennett, one of our clients, and as part of my task I had to learn about their company profile, history, and its products. This turned out to be not your ordinary day in the office, so to speak. I experienced major fashion envy while browsing through their website because all of the items were unquestionably chic and wish they would find their way to my closet. This is a luxury fashion house but despite of that I loved that their pieces were a combination of classical and sophisticated looks suitable for everyday luxury.

LK Bennett's A/W 2013 were most notable for its of impactful prints, deep colors, and electric dressing concept that the British style is most known for. Check out below to see my favorite pieces.

Are you going through major fashion envy yet?

Red Hot

This red corset dress is one of my favorites. The sheer simplicity and the cut are two of the reasons why I immediately bought it when I saw this online. However, these same qualities also make it quite versatile because there are plenty of ways to accessorize it to create different looks.

In addition to the cut and style, the color is irresistible to me. I had professed my love for wearing red before (you can check that here) and this dress reaffirms that. As much as I am tempted to go the extra mile to accessorize with my statement necklace, I still prefer going for the minimalistic route because I want the dress to do the talking. In a way, that also reflects my personal style. I can wear this dress, or any cute dresses for that matter, every day of my life if I could!

Are you a sucker for cute dresses, like I am?
