How to Wear Lace Up Skirt

The lace-up trend has been around for sometime but I've mostly seen it on dresses and tops. Recently, I was also starting to see this on skirts used in lieu of buttons or zippers. I think it was a fun idea so I jumped at the chance to try it. Then, I saw this skirt from Shein and there was no further discussion.

When it arrived in the mail, I was doubly ecstatic! I have purchased several pieces from Shein for years now and this is one of my best buys yet. The stretchy fabric provides enough room to put it on and also secures to your body without being too tight. I would consider this a statement skirt so I tried to tone everything else down with this outfit. Of course, I couldn't resist going matchy-matchy with my buckle strap block heels from Sammydress.

Save or Splurge: Leggings

The first edition of the Save vs Splurge series for 2017 is about leggings. Leggings are one of the most important parts of my fitness routine. Thus, I readily jumped at the chance when I was introduced to GetPersonalizedJewelry. I picked out this gold plated neklace and had it personalized with my name. I always have one or two favorite necklaces but having my name on this makes it extra special. I love the classic style, too, which can be easily worked into my outfit.
