Chic But Cozy Home Additions

In the past year or so, I've been slowly but surely working on the interior of our home. It would have been tempting to just hire a professional to do the interior decorating but I wanted this to be a labor of love. I wanted to pick out the details that I wanted and make it work. It's not easy but one of the most rewarding things I've done in my life. Our first year at home was tough on our bank account since my then-boyfriend and I paid for all of the cost on our wedding. Hence, we literally started from scratch by the time we moved in- buying one furniture piece at a time. More than a year later, our house really does feel like a home now and I love that it has become both a place where we invest all of our hard work in. Here is a sneak peek of our cozy living room space:

There is still a lot of work to be done and I think that we're just chipping away at the tip of the iceberg. We are also going to get some renovations and extension projects done either late this year or early next year. Fingers crossed on that so I  can finally take on some changes on our interior design.
