A-Line Wedding Dresses from Cocomelody

Do we have any brides-to-be over here? If you are, congrats to you! It is one of the most hectic times in your life but don't forget to enjoy the moment - stress and all. I was once in your position and remember it quite vividly. As a bride, there are so many things to consider for your big day but probably none as important as your dress. I've partnered with Cocomelody in the past to bring you bridal style trends to help women out there pick their ideal wedding style. I tell you, it's easier said than done. I did have an idea of what my wedding dress would be like but when I did my shopping, I was overwhelmed with options - all of them looked so lovely!
Today, we're talking about A-line dresses. If I didn't pick the mermaid tail gown for my wedding, this was my next option. Whereas mermaid tail gowns were sexy and classic, A-line wedding dresses are whimsical with a hint of subtle elegance. The tightened hip line helps to render shape to the dress making your waist appear smaller. Meanwhile, the ball gown skirt brings comfort to the bride as she walks down the aisle.

Still not sure if A-line wedding dresses would be a great fit for your wedding theme? Check out below for some inspiration:

Cocomelody Tips: How to Wear Open Back Wedding Dresses

The pressure to look your best on your wedding day is paramount. After all, it is the most important day in your adult life! But when it comes to wearing backless wedding dresses, not all brides might be comfortable with the idea. And yet, it is also one way to achieve a sexy, sultry and dramatic look on your wedding day. The gorgeous view of your back and the beautiful silhouette created by your dress looks even more dramatic as you walk down the aisle. With these tips, you will be able to rock an open back wedding dress with more confidence.

Tip 1: Get sculpted.

If you've ever wondered how those famous celebrities looked stunning in their sexy backless wedding dresses, it's because they have made fitness their number one priority. You can tuck the extra love handles in, but it is impossible to do that all day. Hence, put in the hours at the gym months before your wedding day so you can look your best.

Tip 2: Maintain your glowing complexion.

Aside from a sculpted back, a glowing complexion is another important factor to pull off a backless wedding dress. Make it a part of your wedding preparation to invest in your skin. Stay hydrated, exfoliate your skin, use skin moisturizers and get adequate sleep few days before your wedding day.

Tip 3: Wear the right underwear.

This is one of the biggest questions women face when wearing backless wedding dresses - what type of bra to wear? Not all women are comfortable with going bra-less, especially on such an important occasion. Thankfully, there are plenty of options nowadays including strapless silicone bras that secure the front of your gown without showing off unsightly straps.

Tip 4: Highlight your other beautiful features.

One way to pull off an open back dress, especially if your back is not your most favorite feature, is to take attention away by showing off your assets. Is it your legs? Or your neck? Either way, you can choose a gown that comes with a slit to show off your lengthy limbs or a sweetheart neckline dress to show off your gorgeous neckline.

When it comes down to it, you should just be comfortable in the dress you chose. Do not choose anything that you aren't comfortable with. Open back wedding dresses from Cocomelody are sexy and sultry; but if that isn't your style, don't force it! For great deals on wedding dresses, check this promo:

Shopping 101: Beach Wedding Dresses from Cocomelody

Romantic without the fuss. These are characteristics that define the perfect beach wedding dress. For someone who recently tied the knot, I can say with certainty that finding the perfect wedding dress is one of the most important parts of wedding planning. If you are planning a beach wedding, you can't just wear ANY dress. You have to consider the elements and the theme so that your dress style will complement your wedding theme. I have collaborated with Cocomelody to help narrow down your options to three wedding dress styles that are perfect for a destination or beach wedding.

Sheath Dresses with V-Neck

1 / 2 / 3

Smooth and feminine silhouette. This is the very factor that makes deep V neck, sheath dresses perfect for a beach wedding. As a bonus, this type of beach wedding dresses are casual enough to suit the theme. The use of lace and tulle add more feminine flair to the dress.

Cap Sleeve Dresses

1 / 2

If you're not a fan of sleeveless dresses, a beach wedding is one of those instances that allow you to get away with wearing cap sleeves. It is also the perfect combination of traditional and modern wedding dress style.

Spaghetti Strap Dresses

1 / 2
The most common type of wedding dress worn to a beach wedding are those with spaghetti straps. It is casual enough for a beach wedding and glamorous enough for you to look like one stunning bride on your most important day.

In case you are curious to see my own wedding dress, stay tuned! I will be sharing a series of blog posts showing a few highlights of our big day - don't miss it!

Favorite Wedding Dress Styles from CocoMelody

Shopping for THE dress is one of the most important decisions that brides-to-be had to make initially. Personally I can attest that it had me stressed out for a while. I wanted a custom design dress and I was very particular about what I wanted in my dress (I guess it is better to know what you want prior to shopping around in bridal shops). Thankfully, I was able to find a shop that was able to produce what I wanted at a reasonable budget. Aside from knowing exactly what dress style I wanted, I also had a budget in mind. I wanted to spend no more than $35,000 PhP (780 USD) for my wedding dress and thankfully I found one within that price range and I couldn't be happier. If you're still shopping for your wedding dress, you will not be disappointed with the CocoMelody. I've worked with this company before and I can highly recommend them to anyone who are still clueless about where to buy their wedding dress online.

For now, I can only reveal that I will be wearing a sweetheart neckline, strapless lace gown with a mermaid tulle skirt. Mermaid wedding dresses are fast becoming the go-to option for modern brides. Personally, what I love about this type of dress is the fitted design on the bodice to emphasize shape. The mermaid tail adds a sexy and glamorous detail to the dress. Here are a few of my favorites from the website:

If you are more of a traditional bride, you might be leaning more towards ball gown wedding dresses. Look like a princess on your big day. It is both feminine and fun! If I would have picked a ball gown for my own wedding, it would be any of these:

As a bonus, CocoMelody.com has this fantastic offer on all wedding dresses:

If you were to buy your wedding gown, which would it be: mermaid style or ball gown wedding dress?
