Fash Love: Ever Bilena Pink Flame Matte Lipstick

I've always been a big fan of the red lipstick. I feel like such a charmer with my red lips on, even the boyf thinks it such a tease. LOL. Hence, it is my go-to option for when I want to look fab. In fact, I've featured Ever Bilena's Scarlet Matte Lipstick here in the blog before because I always have it in my vanity pouch. But here's another lipstick shade from EB that I equally love - Pink Flame. 

The Pink Flame comes with a rose pink glow and a dusty undertone. With rose pink being my favorite shade of pink, I just had to have this on my lipstick collection. It makes your lips look feminine yet there is that edgy vibe to it. But the pink in the shade is not too overpowering and it applies really well. And because it is matte, it does not fade easily and you do not have to keep re-touching it every few hours. The only downside is that it can dry up your lips after wearing it, so I always make sure to moisturize my lips after using it. Or layer it with some lip balm before applying the lipstick to protect the lips.

Fash Love: Ever Bilena Scarlet Matte Lipstick

My makeup routine is pretty basic. I dab on a little foundation or pressed powder, mascara, blush, and then lipstick... and I'm good to go! But if I had to pick just one item for my daily essentials, it's got to be a lipstick! In fact, I've been having this (somewhat of an) obsession for lipstick, particularly red and pink shades. When I bought and tried Ever Bilena's Scarlet Matte Lipstick, I instantly fell in love.

I've taken cues from my favorite celebs like Christina Aguilera and Kate Bosworth, wherein their use of fiery red lipstick shades draw a lot of attention to their puckers. It's not that I am trying to draw attention to myself, but I love how a red lipstick can bring more pizzaz into your look. I also like Ever Bilena's matte lipsticks because they are easy to apply and comes with a smooth finishing texture. The shade in itself is red but comes with yellow undertones. It also lasts for a long period of time and doesn't get washed off quickly when I am eating or drinking.

 I have a few other favorites from the brand as far as lipstick shades are concerned i.e. Pink Flame, Off Beat Pink, Zest, and Love That Red! But the Scarlet one is definitely my favorite. In fact, I am never without it!
