Floral Maxi Romper: Two of My Fave in One

First and foremost, pardon for not having proper outfit shots. I was on full vacation mode while in Boracay that taking photos of what I was wearing was the last thing on my mind. I just needed to share this look on the blog because this maxi romper is one of my favorite things to wear recently.

OUTFIT DETAILS: Floral Off Shoulder Maxi Romper
It took me a long time to give into buying this maxi romper. I love wearing a maxi dress and romper, but at first I thought it was somewhat ridiculous to combine the two. To my surprise, putting this on felt so comfortable. When you're on vacation and you spend a lot of time walking around, you will appreciate how comfortable this outfit can be. I like that you can get the comfort of wearing shorts but also the fashionable touch of wearing an off-shoulder maxi dress. It felt so summer-y and beach-y, which truly made it an essential in my packing list.

Lastly, anyone who has read this blog before knows how big of a fan I am of any floral prints. The summery floral print with the vibrant burgundy was begging to be on my vacation packing list! I can't deny that this was one of my favorite outfits that I wore during our most recent vacation. At only a little over $25, the fabric felt more expensive than it really is. That is a good deal in my book!

I know I am a bit late to the trend, but I wanted to ask: would you wear the maxi romper trend?

4 Reasons This Top is a Summer Must-Have!

OUTFIT DETAILSTop c/o Yoshop
Pants from Shein
Fringe Bag c/o Twinkledeals
Earrings c/o Rosegal
Heels from Mendrez

Off shoulder has been on the top of the fashion scene for a while now. When it first made its way into the market, I couldn't help gushing about it. A year later, it is still very much visible and sought after in the fashion industry, whether you are a blogger or not. But if there is one other trend that I cannot get enough of, it's the statement sleeve trend. Specifically, I love how bell sleeves add to ANY outfit...

The triad of my favorite things to wear makes this top one of my new favorites: floral, bell sleeves and off shoulder! Yoshop easily won me over with this one! But let me tell you exactly why it's worth the investment:

1 - Classic Floral Print. If you still only wear floral in the summer or spring, you have some catching up to do. It is a classic print that can be worn any time of the year! With the classic floral print on this top, it is so easy to transition even on cooler months!

2. Comfortable Fit. While I do love off shoulder tops, I hate it when the garter around the shoulders are too tight that they slide up, causing me to constantly have to pull the top down. I haven't encountered any of these issues with this top thus far.

3 - Versatile. It is versatile, as most other floral pieces are! I dressed it up a little in this look with the heels but I can also picture myself wearing it with shorts or sandals!

4 - Affordable! You wouldn't believe how much I got this top for! It is such a good deal considering how beautiful the print is and how comfortable it is to wear!

What is your favorite trend for summer?

If you're not keen on wearing florals for spring, one perennial pattern that is going to make the best alternative is gingham. It has a classic appeal that is similar to polka dots or stripes. In some regard, it can be edgy too. By now, you have probably seen gingham all over the blogosphere and on the street. I admit - I am not a fan of gingham at first. But it slowly won me over and has now been converted into a fan of its sophisticated style. To inspire you to jump in on the trend, if you haven't already, here are some pieces to inspire you:

What are your thoughts on gingham for spring?

Spring 2017 Color Trend: Primrose Yellow

In this post, I've discussed Greenery as the 2017 Pantone Color of the Year. However, Pantone has also released its Spring 2017 colors and I will discuss some (if not all) of them in my blog showcasing you different ways in which you can wear these colors. In today's post, you will find some of the hottest items from one of those colors: Primrose Yellow. Yellow is not a breakthrough color for spring or summer. But primrose yellow invites you with its instant warmth. It also exhibits characteristics of heat and vitality, which are all consistent with the season! This joyful shade will surely inspire you to explore the warm, sunny days of the season with enthusiasm.

If you ever need some spark of energy, you should definitely don this color this season! To shop my favorite primrose yellow pieces for spring/summer, you can check them out below:

Rose Gold Obsession

Rose gold is making a huge comeback this year. Even though I wasn't a fan at first, this trend is slowly growing on me. I've already been a fan of blush for its ability to infuse a delicately sophisticated touch to an outfit. But a blushing gold is even better! I am not a fan of gold, but adding a hint of rose or blush to gold makes it stand out. Whether rose gold is used as the main color or accent for a clothing or jewelry, it's hard not to notice this color. In fact, I am drawn to them when doing my online shopping (I just purchased a rose gold watch from Rumbatime too).

If you're a fan of the rose gold trend or looking for new items to add to your shopping list, I've picked out my faves below:

Lace-Up: Yay or Nay?

Cheap Prom Dresses

When browsing online shops, I can't help but notice this particular trend that is seen everywhere and even in the blogosphere: lace-up tops and dresses. Let me break it down for you: tops or dresses with plunging neckline styles and closed with a lace-up fabric. It is a simple detail but packs a major punch. This trend isn't seen only in cheap clothing stores - they've dominated the runways last year. I am a little bit on the fence with this one. I tend to shy away from anything with plunging necklines. But I cannot help but adore these items featuring the latest hot trend in fashion:

What do you think of this trend: is it a yay or nay?
