Must-Have Weekender Bags

If you are a travel junkie like me, it is important to have a weekender bag in your wardrobe. A weekender bag combines comfort, functionality and style. Therefore, it is the perfect choice for women who like to stay on top of their style even when heading out for a weekend trip or getaway. It is a great bag to carry around for those spontaneous trips too. Whether you travel by car, train or plane, this bag is a must-have!

Above are two of my favorite weekender bags that I currently own. One is from Deux Lux, which is an oversized tote that can carry my hygiene kit, makeup bag and a few clothes (maybe a couple of tops and bottoms, or a few dresses). Despite being so functional, it can also fit into your stylish outfits like this casual preppy look. The other one is from Herschel. This is designed for comfort and durability. It might not look big enough but it has surprised me with how much it can carry! I've featured this duffel/weekender bag in this post

Meanwhile, here are some other fashionable weekender bags that you need to add into your wardrobe, if you do not own one yet!

What's your favorite kind of bag to take for short trips or weekend getaways?

Plaid Perfection

There are many ways to wear plaid and the advent of various plaid styles only opened up more styling possibilities. From oversized plaid coats to flannel shirts, there are more plaid pieces now available to shop than ever. But if there is one thing I love most about wearing plaid is that it has the ability to add subtle sophisticated to a look. And since it is associated with fall and winter fashion, it adds a cozy vibe to your outfit too! It is also easy to style with various pieces to transition from date to night, like a classic plaid shirt.

Check out these plaid pieces that I found that you can incorporate into your outfit all-year round:

Plaid Chiffon Maxi Dress
Plaid Midi Dress
Casual Plaid Shirt Dress
BB Dakota Plaid Shirt Dress
Ruffled Plaid Top
Black & White Plaid Button-Up Top
Navy Blue Plaid Button-Up Top
Blue Plaid Flannel Top
Tartan Plaid Shawl
Sleeveless Long Plaid Vest
Plaid Long Sleeve Coat
Red Scottish Plaid Scarf
