Shirt dresses... for a while, I had shied away from wearing them because (to be honest) who would want to look like they forgot to put on pants? But with busier days as a married woman, I have come to appreciate the ease and comfort they bring to an outfit. This couldn't be any more true for the summer days. They offer the comfort of wearing light dresses as they are easy to wear. Perfect for brunch or for running errands or doing the grocery, I have found myself yearning for shirt dresses. In fact, I've purchased more shirt dresses in the past couple of months than I had owned my entire life (no joke).

The 70's power print is back on the fashion map - paisley. I can't truly say that paisley is one of my favorite prints. But I love that a paisley print brings a hint of boho and summer vibe into an outfit, especially when used on flowy and sheer fabrics. It is a nice print to go to for summer when you want to step out of the traditional floral print. Even though paisley used to be applied onto fashion accessories like shawls or scarves, things have changed as they are also used extensively on a lot of modern fashion pieces.
