There is something about me and white that do not go together... I can't EVER seem to wear white without staining it. Hence, I've tried to avoid wearing white whenever I can but this white lace dress from Shein is looking so perfect for summer that I couldn't say no.

To be honest, I was looking for a little white dress to add to my summer wardrobe. It has been a while since I've bought or worn a white dress (except for my wedding). And this dress comes with raving reviews, too, so I figured it might be a good time to buy a new one. True enough, it was as beautiful as was shown on the website. The fabric is cool, light and fresh - just what I wanted for summer since the heat in the Philippines is insane. 

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a white dress. The fabric has some stretch to it, which is always a bonus when shopping online! I tossed in my old reliables as far as accessories are concerned like my JORD Sully watch and this striped tote (perfect as a beach tote too).

Shorts Season Is Here!

Some people might rejoice at the idea that dress season is finally here! For me, it isn't officially summer yet until I bring out my shorts. It is the easiest thing to reach out to when I want to stay comfy and cool and have no restrictions whatsoever! But doesn't mean you're wearing shorts that you have to look like a dud. As I previously talked about here, I am super stoked that shorts season is finally here! Is there anything more comfortable than wearing shorts? Yup-- none. I am also loving the fact that there are more options for shorts styles than ever before. I remember when I was much younger that denim shorts were the only ones available for me to choose from. Thankfully, we can now find cute options like this one I'm wearing that are eye-catching, adorable and super comfortable. I got it on a major deal too, at only 250 PhP or roughly $6! Steal, I know! (sadly, I bought it from a local mall, but I linked a few cute printed shorts I found online)

But let's talk about this hobo bag from 88 Handbags for a sec. Love it! I had been shopping around for a black bag because I surprisingly do not have one yet. I wanted to get myself a basic black bag to add more versatility to my wardrobe. With this bag, I can wear it as a shoulder bag or as a crossbody bag. Plus, the straps are interchangeable too (it comes with a longer strap - the one I am using in this post) to suit your style. You can wear this bag on a casual look like I did here, or with a dressier outfit.
