Midsummer Night's Dream

Pardon the cheesy title. But I am always drawn to summertime whenever I don this chiffon dress. No, this is not a new one but certainly one of the all-time favorites. I had this dress for like 5 years now but it has been an old reliable when I want to wear something flowy, easy and casual. I prefer wearing it as is - no accessories and minimal makeup (if any at all).

I also love that the lining is detachable from the printed chiffon part of the dress. Hence, I have also used the outer part of the dress as a cover-up. It is one of my ingenuous ideas that turned out brilliant (yes, I like patting myself on the back like that). Now, I cannot wait for summer or hotter weather to arrive in order for me to sport these lovelies more often.

Casual Chic

Gone are the days when I used to call jeans as my go-to choice for casual wear. These days, I basically live in skirts and dresses. I was thrilled when the package arrived and I tried this skirt on - it fitted like it was custom-made for me.

I paired this lovely skirt with a basic green tee. Now isn't the time to experiment with pattern mixing because I felt that the skirt was too delicate to be mixed with anything. Plus, I wanted it to be the 'star' of the look, if I am allowed to use that term. But you can probably tell why I adore this skirt so much, I love anything lace.
