Summer Essentials: Midi and Maxi Skirts

My inclination for feminine style is part of the reason why you mostly see me in dresses and skirts, as evidenced by my style posts. I can't help it! I have a weakness for dresses and skirts. It is also the easiest to style because wearing a skirt or a dress will make you look put together even with minimal effort.

 Thus, I've relied on skirts heavily to make up most of my summer wardrobe. I love the fact that I can wear one type of skirt and create a completely different look by wearing another type of skirt. I would have to say, I do have a biased preference for midi and maxi skirts as of late. But that does not stop me from gushing over some beautiful skirts I've found online.     I LOVE that striped midi skirt! I'm really wanting a pleated midi skirt. I don't have a single midi length skirt yet!

    I'm not big on midi skirts--at least how they look on me but a good maxi--YES! I've been trying to find another every time we thrift shop with no luck :( I don't think girls want to give theirs up so I can have them!

    I love midi skirts because I can pull them up to my waist and they don't turn into mini skirts, haha! I usually wear neutrals or solid colors, so I like skirts because I can wear a patterned one and still wear a solid shirt.
