Living in Color

Accessories add that element of fun to your outfit. It can be a source of texture, a pop of color or some kind of contrast that elevates the look. One of my favorite ways to use accessories for an accent in an outfit is to introduce color. If you don't like vibrant outfits, you can keep your ensemble monochromatic and then simply add a bright pair of earrings or necklace to integrate color into the look. It is bold but subtle, daring but contrived.

The range of colored tassels available at BaubleBar's website is very impressive but I've also picked out a few items from my other go-to websites when it comes to fashionable accessories:

How do you introduce color into your outfit? Do you prefer it as an accent or in the main piece?

Wishlist: Ear Crawlers

Ear crawlers. You've seen them in blogs, shopping sites, celebrities... literally, everywhere! This new trend has got me curious and craving for one of my own. I love that these earrings that 'crawl' up to your ears give an edgy twist to an outfit. However, it is also versatile enough to be used as a dainty access to your outfit, think crystals or anything sparkly. Indeed, ear crawlers are a combination of stud and cuff earrings... and there are so many reasons to want one. I've curated a few of my fave finds online to get you even more excited about this trend:

Gala Ear Crawlers / Double Dipper Ear Crawler / Asymmetrical Tinker Bell Ear Crawler
Mohawk Ear Duo / Asymmetrical Falkor Ear Crawler / Caesar Ear Crawlers
Rebecca Minkoff Boho Bead Ear Crawler / Sam Edelman Tapered Pave Ear Crawler / Kate Spade Dainty Sparklers Ear Crawler

Are you loving ear crawlers too? Which of these would you pick out?

Holiday Style: His & Hers

Today is going to be a fun one! I am excited to do something I've never done before - finally convince my boyfriend husband to step out from behind the lens and become a model for one day (just one, he says). I had fun doing this photoshoot with my husband because he's more of a natural in front of the camera than I am (yes, not ashamed to admit that). But I have something more exciting to share with you later (stick until the end of this post). I've collaborated with JORD once again to showcase their Sully series, particularly the Green Sandalwood watch. This is definitely a unique type of watch because it is great for men and women!

Let's start off with my holiday look first. I wore this new Brenda Shop floral dress with my cream clutch bag from Ami Club Wear. Brenda Shop has an impressive selection of floral dresses (you can see my other floral dress that I got from the website here) and vintage pieces that are affordable and high quality. As you can see, it is a highly feminine and delicate dress, which was complemented well by the cream clutch bag from AMI Clubwear and my ankle strap heels. I decided to pair it with my Green Sandalwood Sully watch from JORD to introduce contrast and edge with the wide band watch. The earrings from Mod & Soul is THE ultimate pair of earrings to wear during the holidays - it's like a tiny Christmas tree! You can get the exact pair here

His Style

Sunglasses: Sili Sunglasses (c/o) / Watch: JORD (c/o)

My husband's style is laid back and casual. You will often see him wearing cotton tees and polo shirts. He looks kind of dapper in this plaid polo shirt, I have to admit - the Sully watch helped to incorporate a casually cool and effortless essence to the look. And while we're at the subject of fashion items suited for men and women, he's also wearing Sili Sunglasses' white matte polarized sunglasses. (of which you've seen me style here).

And here's the exciting bit: I've partnered with JORD to giveaway a limited quantity of e-gift cards worth $25 each for the holidays! If you've had your eye on one of these lovely wood watches, be sure to enter to get in on the savings, tis the season! Entering is easy; click the link below - it will ask you for your email and your favorite JORD watch (so many to choose from) once you hit enter, your code will be emailed directly to you!

Holiday Gift Guide: Jewelry

When I got married, I gifted my bridesmaids and maid of honor earrings that they can wear on my wedding day so they could all wear the same type of jewelry. Therefore, jewelries make a great and classic gift idea for the holidays, especially if you are willing to splurge a little on your gifts for that special someone. With the abundance of jewelry stores online like Lulu Frost (for those looking for higher end jewelries) and Amy O Jewelry and Blue Box Jewels (for those looking for reasonably priced gift options), you are sure to find something to fit into your budget and delight the recipient.
