Chambray for spring is not a fashion breakthrough, just like floral is. But they are called staples for a reason. Hence, I am excited to share this look because it showcases the quintessential spring/summer vibe that I have always striven for. I have had a few chambray dresses over the years but this is undoubtedly my favorite yet. Find out why below...

If there is anything that I like equally as chambray, it's the small but unique details that make a simple piece stand out. In this case, the cut-out and bow tie front combine to make a feminine dress look extra cute but not in a cheesy way. I've always loved pairing feminine pieces together but with this one, the dress is all you need to create a decidedly feminine look because of the cutout front and that bow.

The front placement of the button makes it super easy to put on this dress too. And as you can see from one of my photos, the back is also stretchable so it has quite a forgiving fit. Yet another reason to love Chicwish - this dress is a masterpiece in its simplicity. You can get yours for less than $51!

If you are looking for other chambray pieces to add to your spring wardrobe, here are some of my picks from Chicwish:

You Make Me Blush

If you want to keep your summer style simple but sophisticated, there is no better color to achieve that than blush. It is primarily the reason why I am so into them. Blushed nudes don't just look sophisticated but they also pack a lot of feminine punch. I mean... how dreamy are these blush dresses and romper that I've linked below?

Aside from blush, what other color/s is/are your go-to for spring and summer?

Cutest Nail Art Ideas for Summer

I do believe that there is no better season than summer to experiment with nail colors and nail arts. It is also that time of the year when your manicure and pedicure are an integral part of your style. After all, you will be wearing sandals and open-toe footwear a lot. Make sure your nails are ready to show themselves off in fun, bright and creative nail art ideas! If Instagram and Pinterest were any proof, then you know great nails is an integral part of your style!

If you would like to skip the constant trip to the nail salon (and hence save your budget!), I'm happy to share this fun new website that I've discovered that lets you easily create your own nail art at home: NailSnaps. No more dealing with the expense of a custom nail art because this product was designed with that purpose in mind. The fun part that is you can explore existing nail art collections from the website or make your own

Below are just some of my favorites that I would love to wear this summer:

What is your thought on nail arts? Is nail art an essential part of your summer style too?

Sometimes, simple outfits turn out to be the best. Style is a huge component of my personal identity but it is easy for me to forego style in exchange for comfort. Thankfully, I did not have to make that choice when I got this leopard print flats from FSJ Shoes. It has the perfect combination of style statement and classic elements that make it perfect for any outfit. Like I've said time and again, I was adamant about wearing leopard at first. But I am glad that I took the chance because I now have such a special place in my heart for it.

In this look, I've featured a monochromatic outfit of my favorite color: blue. One is cobalt and the other is navy. I don't do monochromatic looks all the time but the idea for this combo just popped to mind. I love the simplicity of the blue on blue outfit but wanted to spice it up a little while still going for the classic route. The leopard print flats were my first choice because it captures enough attention without stealing it. Hence, it offered just the right amount of edginess to spice up a basic outfit.

As I mentioned in this post, wearing leopard print shoes is the best way to gradually ease yourself up into incorporating the pattern into your outfit (especially if you are not too keen on wearing leopard print clothes). Therefore, I do believe that every woman needs to have at least one leopard print footwear in her closet. It does the trick when you want to make simple outfits stand out! Do you agree?
