Shorts from Shein
Sandals c/o Sammydress
Tote c/o Zaful
Watch c/o JORD

Nine times out of ten, you will find me wearing a dress. The remainder of that statistics can be divided between pants and shorts. Luckily, we do have a tropical climate that enables me to wear shorts all year round (same with dresses), so I do take full advantage of this opportunity whenever I can. In the past, I've showcased you my shorts styles and how I like to dress up my shorts outfit. But today, I am showing you how I like to wear shorts for a vacation.

I've had this shorts from Shein since last summer. I've been wearing it a ton since but I haven't really blogged about it until now. But given that it reflects my choice of personal style on a day-to-day basis, I thought it deserved a spot in my blog. When paired with this sheer classic button down top from Chicwish, this combo is one of my personal favorites. I love coming up with stylish combinations and looking for chic outfit inspirations, but when you are traveling I do think all of these take a back seat to comfort. Thankfully, comfort does not have to take a back seat with this look as I can achieve that and look stylish too. And don't even get me started on these adorable fringe sandals! My husband thinks it's ridiculous and takes a lot of time to put on, but what do men know about women's fashion anyway?

Go-To Summer Dress

OUTFIT DETAILS
Dress (c/o) / Sandals (c/o) / Crossbody Bag (c/o) / Earrings (c/o)

My quest for the perfect summer dress has come to an end. It's no secret that I love wearing a little white dress for summer; hence, I could not pass up this beauty when I saw it on the Chicwish website. There is an ethereal quality with ivory or white dresses in general, but the simple details such as the crochet finish and the cutouts all made a beautiful dress look even better.

Chicwish has always been known to stock up on the most feminine and chic pieces. That is why it was dream come true for me to collaborate with this brand. Since the dress is complete on its own, I did away with the statement accessories save for this druzy earrings from Twinkledeals. The dress is all there is to it when it comes to making a chic statement for summer. In fact, I love this dress so much I have worn this at least once every week for the past two weeks. In both of those times, I've worn it with my lace-up espadrilles and a strappy sandal. It also speaks to the versatility of this dress - so that is another win in my book!

Chambray for Spring

OUTFIT DETAILS
Dress (c/o) / Bag (c/o) / Watch (c/o) / Earrings (c/o) / Shoes (c/o)

Chambray for spring is not a fashion breakthrough, just like floral is. But they are called staples for a reason. Hence, I am excited to share this look because it showcases the quintessential spring/summer vibe that I have always striven for. I have had a few chambray dresses over the years but this is undoubtedly my favorite yet. Find out why below...

If there is anything that I like equally as chambray, it's the small but unique details that make a simple piece stand out. In this case, the cut-out and bow tie front combine to make a feminine dress look extra cute but not in a cheesy way. I've always loved pairing feminine pieces together but with this one, the dress is all you need to create a decidedly feminine look because of the cutout front and that bow.

The front placement of the button makes it super easy to put on this dress too. And as you can see from one of my photos, the back is also stretchable so it has quite a forgiving fit. Yet another reason to love Chicwish - this dress is a masterpiece in its simplicity. You can get yours for less than $51!

If you are looking for other chambray pieces to add to your spring wardrobe, here are some of my picks from Chicwish:

Embroidered Chambray Dress / Off Shoulder Chambray Top / Daisy Off Shoulder Dress / Off Shoulder Chambray Dress / Washed Chambray Off Shoulder Top

Do you like wearing chambray for spring and summer too?

Working with Chicwish was a long-time dream of mine. The website is one of my favorite online shops on the web. If you happen to visit their website, you'll see for yourself why. It is a hub of all things pretty - tops, dresses, and skirts. This particular skirt that I am wearing today is from Chicwish. It was love at first sight with this skirt!

I've always been a fan of mixing bold colors together. Color blocking might be a trend of 2015 but it has never really faded from the fashion scene. When tastefully done, it can even look elegant. That is the idea that I was going for when I decided to pair my red top with this dark green maxi skirt. It is no secret that I love adding a pop of color to my outfits but pairing two bold colors in one outfit takes it to a whole new level.

Like I said, Chicwish has a seemingly endless array of pretty skirts. Below are just a few of my other favorites:

Emerald Maxi Skirt / Stripe in Blue Cotton Midi Skirt / Lollipop Color Block Midi Skirt / Midi Skirt in Rosy Brown / Pleated Midi Skirt in Sapphire Blue
