Is It Summer Yet?

Floral dominate the choice of pattern in my closet. In fact, I have so much floral in my closet that I could wear one every single day for one week without repeating any item. But that hasn't stopped me from going out and grabbing some more. I had been on the prowl for floral pants for a verrrry long time (I had to put several r's in there for emphasis) but I can be quite picky, too. Whether it's ill-fit or the color, I always find something that I don't quite like.

The search is finally over. I found this electric blue pants with floral patterns from Marmalade Boutique courtesy of Jorgy 'N Missy. And the best part - I got it on sale! I love that it is so easy to wear, whether I am looking to wear it casual or a bit more dressed up. For this particular day, I opted for casual since I had a gym date after. If the top looks familiar, it's because I've worn it here.

What's your thoughts on floral pants?

Puff Skirt Love

A trusty skirt is one of those things that should not be missing in any girl's closet, in my opinion. If you're into feminine style, like myself, having just one piece of skirt is not enough. There has to be one of everything! True enough, you can find every imaginable type of skirt in my closet - skater, bandage, pencil, and puff skirt! Hey, don't judge!

Actually, the newest addition into my growing collection of skirts was gifted to me by a friend. Oh, how I love friends who give me stuffs that I really like! This leaves me to wonder, though, if I'd been as good of a gift-giver... but I digress. This two-tone puff skirt is a dream. First off, it's cobalt. COBALT. My favorite shade of blue. The other hue is black, which gives it a classic touch without losing that trendy look.

Puff skirts are usually very feminine looking, though, so I gave a fun twist to my look with a red & white striped top and some statement jewels. Black flat shoes completed my look for a fun, girly, and somewhat bubbly work wear.

What's your take on puff skirt? Yay or nay?

Red Fringe

I used to be scared to wear red because I felt that the hue was too dominating or even intimidating. But since I've become obsessed (yes, I feel like this is a reasonable term to use) with bold, red lipstick shades, I took the chance and figured maybe I can pull off red, too. Since then, I've been a fan! The bolder and darker the hue is, the better!

Today, I am showcasing another red dress. I decided to go overboard with this whole red thing by wearing deep red nails and bold red lipstick. I accessorized this dress with my favorite mixed print scarf and cinched the waist with a braided belt (since the fringe details can make the dress look wider on the hip area).

This fringed dress has a boho chic vibe to it that drew me quickly when I saw it online. Yet, it has come as a surprise to me why it spent most of it's time in my closet. Some dresses just don't get the credit they deserve, do they? The last and only time I remember wearing this was for my friend's bridal shower and that was over a year ago!

As you can see, this dress holds lot of memories for me. Don't you think it's fun when certain dresses have that effect on you? Or am I just being too melodramatic? Either way, I can't deny that I am a big fan of red dresses!

Are you a fan of red hues too?

Floral Crop Top

Summer is long ways gone and not coming anytime soon. But while the crop top fest is on a high, might as well ride with it. I got this floral blue crop top from Be Fabulous Online Shop and loved it the moment I put it on. The fabric is flowy and comfortable. When I decided to wear it on my recent getaway at a nature park, I opted for a black leggings to pair it with to give a casual, relaxed vibe to my look and keep things comfortable. But I suspect this will serve me plenty of use as its versatile enough to be worn with denim jeans or shorts.

If you are looking for more fun and easy to wear tops and fashion items, visit and like Be Fabulous Online Shop on their Facebook page. They also have everything you need for the wannabe fashionistas out there. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

A flowy top, leggings and flip flops is my go-to look. What's yours?

Teal Maxi

Have I told you I love wearing maxis? I used to be intimidated by it because I was born petite. But since I started wearing them, I had been so into them! It is a simple way to dress up your look. Contrary to popular belief that petite people should stay away from maxis, it can actually help to lengthen your limbs.

One way to make a maxi work for you, though, is to find the right fabric, print (if you opt for printed ones), and the fit. This teal maxi skirt that I recently added to my closet is a new favorite. I know I say that all the time when I saw the color and cut, I knew it was meant for my closet. The fit not only looks good but it also feels very comfortable to wear. It seemed so ethereal with the right pair and exudes simple sophistication, too.

For this particular look, I opted for the casual take though because the boyf and I were out to grab some dinner for a Friday date night. I do like to dress up for him once in a while, but more than anything I just wanted something that is comfortable.

How do you like to wear your maxi? Casual, elegant, or boho?
