StyleWe: A Hub for Independent Fashion Designers

Fashion is constantly evolving. Trends come and go, designers so do too. But that is what makes the industry dynamic. You'll never know where the next trend will come from and who will innovate it. Hence, I am thrilled that StyleWe reached out to me and was given the opportunity to share about this fantastic website on my blog. Just as small time bloggers like myself want to get a share of the lpie from major fashion bloggers and influencers, so do independent fashion designers who are seeking out a big break in the fashion industry.

It is delightful to have found a website that provides a platform for these designers to have their creations showcased for the world to see. It is a great way to reward their creativity and encourage new creations from them. If you browse the website's designers section, you will find eclectic designs from PUNK RAVE or feminine pieces from Blushfashion. 

You can also find various fashion designs across different seasons. For instance, this impressive collection of shearling coats would be ideal for the winter. Rose Gold Obsession

Rose gold is making a huge comeback this year. Even though I wasn't a fan at first, this trend is slowly growing on me. I've already been a fan of blush for its ability to infuse a delicately sophisticated touch to an outfit. But a blushing gold is even better! I am not a fan of gold, but adding a hint of rose or blush to gold makes it stand out. Whether rose gold is used as the main color or accent for a clothing or jewelry, it's hard not to notice this color. In fact, I am drawn to them when doing my online shopping (I just purchased a rose gold watch from Rumbatime too).

Keep it Short

When I am not in the mood to wear a dress, I usually reach out for shorts to wear when I am out and about. I love that there are more options for shorts available these days apart from the traditional denim shorts. In fact, some short styles are dressier and can therefore be worn with a more dressed up outfit paired with sandals or heels. Whatever your style is, it's hard to deny how comfortable shorts are.

When I am made to pick between a monochrome vs a colorful outfit, I'd pick color without hesitation. I am of the opinion that the more colorful an outfit is, the better. Life is so much fun when there is color involved, agree?

Hence, this is how this look came about... I love this blue pleated maxi skirt because, well, I simply am addicted to the color. Apparently, the vibrant blue color isn't enough that I went for the red cami top from Forever 21 to pair it with. I bought several of this top from Forever 21 in various color options - these are such staple pieces and are essential to have in your closet. I bought them in basic colors for easy mixing and matching.

Summer Prints Series: Tropical

During summer, if I want to deviate from floral, there is one other go-to print for me: palm/tropical prints.
