I've been looking forward to the boyf's birthday since the start of June. That's just me. I always like to make things extra special for my loved ones during their birthdays or any other special occasion. However, there was nothing grandiose planned for this particular day. We just went to church and asked for blessings then headed for a mini food trip (hint: gelatos and cinnamon rolls!!).
After we're done munching on some guilt-ridden sweets, we picked up his customized cake that I had ordered specially for him. I knew he's crazy over UFC and martial arts so I thought it was a design concept that he'd appreciate. And he did!! The look on his face when we got the cake was pretty priceless. My day was made right there! But just when I thought my day couldn't get even better, we had seafoods dinner with his entire family and some cousins, too.
