Spring Stripes + Three Dots

Three Dots Striped Top (originally featured here)

Even though I like to glam up my look once in a while with heels and fancy dresses, I still lean to classic patterns like stripes on most days. Stripes is clearly everyone's favorite (I could be wrong!) pattern and the reason is clear as daylight. It is easy to style, versatile and timeless. Stripes never goes out of trend. And the fact that there are several types of striped pattern provides you with endless styling possibilities.

When I got this striped Cabanda top from Three Dots, I was amazed. The fabric is lightweight and cool. It was the perfect top to wear on our hot, humid days in the Philippines. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. You want to wear something light and breezy on hot days but you don't have to compromise style.

And this is where Three Dots comes in... I got lost on their website, exploring many beautiful items on display. But I am mostly impressed by their striped selection and I am sure you will too. Here are some of my top picks (with links on where you can shop them):

one / two / three / four / five

Are you a fan of stripes too?

JORD's Delmar Drift Series

If you are an avid reader of my blog, then you know that I love me some JORD. This is seriously one of my favorite companies that I've worked with. The sustainability of the products and the uniqueness piqued my interest when they expressed desire to collaborate. And I just couldn't say no... at that time, they were the the only company that I've heard of that produced wooden watches. And they are continuing to bring innovation with their new Delmar DRIFT series

With this all new series, you can get more customized wood options and colors to suit your style. I love the style and look of the Delmar watches because they are unisex in design - much like the Sully Green Sandalwood watch, which you've previously seen me (and my hubby) style here.

Delmar DRIFT Green Sandalwood & Pearl Carbon / Delmar DRIFT Red Sandalwood & Topaz Carbon
Delmar DRIFT Bamboo & Olive Carbon / Delmar DRIFT Dark Sandalwood & Obsidian Carbon
Delmar DRIFT Dark Sandalwood & Garnet Carbon / Delmar DRIFT Bamboo & Navy Carbon

These are just some of my favorites from the series. You have plenty more options available when you browse the website. Which of these Delmar DRIFT watches do you see yourself wearing?

Here are some looks I've featured with JORD:

Plaid Midi + Lace-Up Espadrilles

In the summer time, I like to keep my style easy and laid back. It starts with choosing pieces that are made of lightweight materials like this flowy plaid midi dress from BB Dakota. I have wanted a shirt dress for so long but I could not find the style that I want. This button front midi dress is the next best thing to a shirt dress. Even though I am a maxi lover at the core, I have gotten to appreciate midi dresses as of late. They are proving to be as versatile as maxi dresses are in terms of being able to dress them up or down. I got the dress in small but it appears longer to me as I am petite.

Lace-Up Espadrilles: Soludos
Watch: JORD (c/o)

To complete my casual summer look, I need an equally comfortable pair of shoes. And what better type of shoe to wear than espadrilles? I've been seriously lusting over all kinds of espadrilles this season - espadrille flats, lace-up espadrilles, wedges espadrilles, and so on. This pair from Soludos (and it's only $55) was the ultimate choice because it is versatile enough to be paired with a few other summer pieces in my closet. It's a must-have if you are looking for a new pair!

Drop Waist Obsession

Obsession is a strong word. But I would not hesitate calling my love for drop waist dresses an obsession. I've previously talked about this particular trend being one of my current favorites and it still is! I purchased this dress from Shein from way back and little did I know that the flounce hem will become a huge trend this past year, and even more so now. I could not have been any happier with this purchase!

As a bonus? I purchased this dress in red - it was also available in black at that time. Aside from the classic black and white dresses, I do believe that a red dress is a must in every woman's closet. Like a red lipstick, the red dress creates a bold statement without even trying. In fact, it did not even need any more styling except for this quilted beige purse and my nude heels!

What are your thoughts on the drop waist trend?

Touch of Suede

As much as I love wearing dresses, there are certain moods that make me crave for my jeans. Wearing denim jeans is a classic look that can be easily dressed up or down. Simple touches can make a look. And for this one, I think my red suede Steve Madden pumps helped to elevate this casual denim look.

Top: Rosewholesale (c/o - sold out)
Jeans: Bench
Shoes: Steve Madden
Watch: JORD (c/o)
Bag: Kate Spade

When suede became a huge trend earlier this year, I was excited about the trend because of the gorgeous suede pieces I've been seeing on various bloggers. Sadly, the tropical weather here makes it impossible for me to wear anything suede. The next best thing I could get to wearing a suede is by wearing suede shoes. Me getting this suede pumps was perfectly timed too since I was looking to add red pumps to my shoe collection. And it does not hurt that these red pumps dressed up the outfit, right?

If you are also looking to add some red suede pumps to your collection (since mine is already sold out), here are some options for you:

Kate Spade Licorice Pumps / DVF Myriam Suede Pumps / Stuart Weitzman Heist Pumps

Which of these red pumps will you love to take home?
