What's New from JORD?

JORD is one of my favorite watch companies... EVER. The first thing that caught my attention about this brand is their wooden watches. At that time, they were the only brand manufacturing wooden watches so I can say with confidence that they are among the pioneers. The quality of the woodwork and the classic design with a trendy detail is also another standout feature. In fact, their Fieldcrest Maple watch is my go-to - it goes with anything!

Recently, they have unveiled two of their newest collections: Cassia and Meridian series. And I have to say, JORD has definitely stepped up their game in terms of style! There are so many reasons to love wearing maxi dresses, but if I had to pick just one, it's the fact that you can wear one all throughout the year. The length makes it ideal to transition even for cooler months. At the same time, the casual feel and style makes it great for summer time wear when you want to stay cool but chic. I just recently added one to my growing collection and it's another one from Shein.

The print might be a bit reminiscent of summer fashion but the fabric is extremely comfortable you'd want to wear it all year long! The cotton blends fabric was truly a welcome surprise! I love its comfy feel especially in this crazy season we're having wherein the days are extremely humid and the nights are extremely cold (due to the rain!). Hence, this maxi dress is a must-have in my book. I can wear it as is on those hot and humid days, or layer with a denim jacket or cardigan on cooler days!

Stripes is a universally liked pattern that has proven its timeless appeal over and over again. Thus, I always try to add one striped piece to my closet every season. This season, I have finally found the perfect striped piece to add to my wardrobe. I was initially drawn to the pinstripes because it adds a lot of subtle elegance to the dress. I scored a jackpot on this one because I found a vertical striped with a midi length too!

I instantly envisioned wearing this dress for a vacation. It is so easy to wear, comfortable and effortlessly chic. My new retro cateye sunnies from TSG Shop is the perfect accessory for the dress. When talking about timeless prints, there is one that rules them all: stripes. It never goes out of style and is never redundant. I got this striped maxi dress from Rosegal since I was searching for a comfortable tank maxi dress to wear to an upcoming vacation in Southeast Asia. And anyone whose explored Southeast Asia knows how punishing the heat can get. Hence, I am gathering items that are easy to wear and helps to keep me fresh when I am out and about! I am not going to spill any details yet as to where we are going, but I will be sharing some glimpses in the future! I am just so happy that this dress was as comfortable and refreshing as can be, so this will definitely be making it to my packing list.
