Us, women, wear earrings almost everyday. We think we know all we have to know about choosing which earrings to wear - or probably do not give it enough attention. But really, what difference can a pair of earrings make, right? Well, heads up, it is time you take a few considerations into mind in choosing which earrings to wear. You have to find one that complements your face shape. Read on below for a quick guide:
Round Face
If you have a round face characterized by full and cherub cheeks, go for long earrings (preferably rectangular or those with elongated shape). This will create balance in your face shape so it will look slimmer. Hence, you must also steer away from wearing studs, hoops or other circular shaped earrings.
Here are some picks of mine:
Long Face
Naturally, if your face shape is elongated, you need to go for earrings that create more shape and add width. Avoid wearing long earrings. Check out some of these round shaped earrings:
Heart Shaped Face
A heart shaped face is characterized by having a pointed chin. You can balance this out with long, chandelier-type or water drop earrings in order to fill in the bottom half of the face.
Oval Face
Oval face shapes are the luckiest. They can wear any style of earrings, so you are free to choose whatever you want and it will still look good.
Square Jaw
Women with square jaw can soften up their look by choosing earrings that have round edges or oval shape. Hence, pearl studs or hoop earrings are your best bet.
