It's no secret that I am a fan of statement necklaces and accessories. A necklace or earrings can make a simple outfit stand out. In fact, it can elevate an outfit and make casual outfits seem more dressed up. A statement necklace in particular is a must-have for any true fashionista. Style Remix: Keeping it Classy

It's no secret that I am a shameless outfit repeater. So for today, I am going to show another way I've styled an old item off my closet. Technically, this isn't too old. But you might have seen me wear this skirt here and here. I tried to keep it simple this time, focusing on making the skirt the focal piece of my outfit. I opted for a basic white tee to make the two-tone skirt pop. A statement necklace infused the glam feel to the look and also makes it a bit dressed up than your regular casual day look. 

Aside from being really comfortable to wear, I like this outfit because I think it is the closest reflection to my personal style: feminine but simple. A red lipstick helped to add the sass to my outfit so I just went for it. I am wearing IN2IT's long lasting red lipstick, if you're curious.

Happy Piglet

Sorry for the lame title. I could not find a way to categorize this look I am about to showcase today. This cute sleeveless cotton top is one of my new favorites because I cannot fully express just how comfortable it is to wear. The cool and soft feel of the fabric when worn makes me want to sleep on it (almost!). It also comes with a fun print that is aptly called happy piglet. Don't you just love all the fun colors?

I decided to dress up this top a bit with my blue skinny pants and red statement necklace. A messy bun helped to reinforce the undone feel of this look. This outfit is so comfortable I could wear this everyday!

Statement necklaces had been my recent obsession. Since I got my first one, I can't help but keep adding some more into my collection. I want one of every style and color! Adding statement necklaces is a simple yet effective technique to wear timeless pieces in your wardrobe and give it a modern twist. Heck, you can even wear a plain tee and add a statement necklace and you would've a truly edgy style!
