Olive You

Plus Size Prom Dresses

Aside from wine red, olive green is one of the staple colors for fall. Therefore, it is not a surprise if you start seeing this color on bloggers and on the street. There is a precious and calming quality to this color, which is ideal for the cooler weather. I've also touched on army jacket as one of the fall staples that clearly supports the fact that olive is one of the go-to colors of the season. If you are ready to start stocking new olive pieces, you have come to the right place.

Dark Floral for Fall + Linkup

Cheap Prom Dresses

I am the biggest floral fan you will ever meet; I guess it is a testament to my love for feminine styles. But florals don't always have to be worn in the summer time. If you're not a fan of the bright and girly style that is associated with the pattern, you can choose dark and moody florals instead. The use of a dark color palette to serve as background for the floral print adds a sense of edge and even a Victorian goth feel to it. Hence, do not be afraid to incorporate florals to your outfit this season.

Below are a few pieces that you can start with. You can add them to your outfit as a focal or accent piece:

Yumi Kim Modern Muse Dress
Boho Navy Floral Print Dress
JOA Black Floral Print Dress
Talulah Floral Print Top
Clayton Floral Crepe Bodysuit
Karen Kane Sheer Floral Overlay Top
Marc Jacobs Mixed Daisy Flower Tote
Kate Spade Floral Print Wallet
Adidas by Stella McCartney Floral Backpack
Vintage Floral Wide Leg Pants
Floral Long Kimono
Casual Floral Flatform Sneakers

As you can see, pairing the bright floral blooms against the dark background adds a sense of whimsy to any outfit. It's no wonder that dark florals are seen everywhere these days. You can find them not just in dresses but also in skirts, blazers, kimonos, bags and even shoes! And yet, the floral print does not lose every bit of its lady-like characteristics, which I love!

Which of these piece/s do you like most?

Fortunately, shopping for new supplies will hopefully bring the fun back into the mix! I always like to go on a mini retail therapy to excite me, like when I shop for vacation outfits. It gives you something to look forward to. Navy Tribe

As a fan of blue, I've always had a bias for cobalt. But I've recently opened up to the idea of exploring other shades of blue like navy. This particular shade of blue has caught my fancy a few times but I haven't given this color a try until I bought this dress from Shein.

Dress: Shein (sold out - similar, similar)
Watch: Michael Kors

I've been looking to stock up on long sleeve dresses for the cooler temperature but wanted to opt for something light and easy to wear. This dress nailed both requirements. It is made with light chiffon layers that makes it easy to wear even during the day. At the same time, it has enough layers to stay warm for nighttime wear. The embroidered details around the neckline is also on-point. I've always had issues with reviews made about Shein's products not being true to the photo and this is one of those that was honest in terms of product representation on the website. To be honest, I was a bit scared about buying this since there were no other user reviews by the time of my purchase. Thankfully, it did not disappoint particularly because it is less than $17!

If you are looking for a flowy day dress that would be easy to transition to night, this is it! The navy color also renders it with a sophisticated touch so you will look dressed up even when you wear it with sandals or flats.

How would you style this dress?
