2015 Outfits: First Half

My style is all over the place. However, I've been more adventurous with taking on trends for this year such as rompers, palm prints and bow back dresses. There are also a few staples like floral, polka and stripes. I have to say that of all the trends so far this year, rompers/jumpsuits are my favorite!

Crop Top Obsession

Since I started this blog, I vouched to myself that I will keep an open mind about fashion. So far, so good. I have been actively seeking out new and timeless trends that I can incorporate into my wardrobe. One of them is the crop top trend. I know that it takes a lot of guts and body confidence to be able to pull off a crop top. Not to say that I have oozing body confidence but it is all about playing with your assets to make the whole outfit work.

This red scalloped crop top is from Sheinside. When I saw this on the website, I was debating as to whether or not I should buy it. I was attracted to the color and the scalloped detailing on the hem but I was not sure if I can pull off the crop top look. But I took a leap of faith and decided to order the top. When I got the item, I heaved a sigh of relief because it wasn't too low (which I feared). The hem just hangs right around the navel, which was just what I wanted or could dare. It bared just enough tummy but never too much.
