Palm prints, like floral, have an almost
synonymous effect with summer. Lucky for me, the weather where I live almost
feels like summer all year round. Thus, I cannot turn down this gorgeous dress
when I saw it on the Shein website. The palm prints and the vibrant orange color
were a beautiful combo. I do not usually go for orange when shopping but this
was one of those few exceptions. It has cut-out details on the side, too, which
looks like a lot of fun.
A few tips when shopping this dress
though: the fabric has no stretch. I was lucky that I chose the right size
because the dress fits me like a glove. I got it in medium (my heart sank a bit
to say that). If I would have gotten a small, I don’t think I’d be able to wear
it at all. If I would have gotten a large, it might be too baggy. The medium
was the perfect fit for me. I suggest you should take your own measurements and
compare it with the sizing chart at Shein in the actual product page. The
sizing can differ with each product; this means you might measure small for one
product and measure medium for another.
Overall, very pleased with this dress. I
dressed it up with my Michael Kors watch, nude heels and black clutch. I’m so
excited to wear it for a tropical vacation and dress it down for the beach!
