Blue and Green

In a previous post, I've talked about how I love the color blue and that I've basically filled up my closet with many clothing items of this color. Hence, you can only imagine my excitement when I was window shopping one day and found this azure pants at the mall. Love the fabric because it feels light and cool against the skin. Plus, it does not hurt that it looks effortlessly chic.

I decided to play up with the color and paired it with my green Old Navy spaghetti strap top. The white bolero helped to break up the solid colors.

What did you think of my first attempt at a color block outfit?

It's Almost My Birthday

Only one more day until my birthday and I am stoked. This has been a great year and I can't believe it's been a year since the last one (time flies, cliche as it sounds!). I've organized a simple dinner at home with my family, like I always do. I'd much prefer to be having a simple dinner with them than going out or doing something else.

While I am out to celebrate this special day (also our sixth anniversary today!), I'd like to share to you a few memories from my celebration last year. I had a pool party with my family at a nearby clubhouse and hosted dinner at home after that.

Be sure to comment in on what you're up to lately, love to hear them! xoxo

Stripes & Blazer

Trends come and go, as they say. That is why I am cautious when buying something with the trend, making sure to buy pieces with a classic touch so I can still wear that item even when it is no longer in trend.

One trend that I am currently loving is the blazer. When I spotted this cream textured blazer on my recent trip to the mall, I just knew right there and then that my closet needs it. The color is one thing that drew me in. It is neutral so I can pair it with any piece or color without making myself look like a total mess. And yet, the cut perfectly fits me like it was tailor-made.

What is your style idea for a blazer? What did you think of my casual look today?
