The Prettiest Floral Wrap Dress

Dress: Twinkledeals (c/o)

Earrings: Happiness Boutique (c/o)
Watch: Michael Kors

The wrap dress is a classic. It was DVF who introduced this style into the fashion world in the 1970s and since then new styles have emerged to give this retro trend a modern twist. To be honest though, I wasn't so crazy about this trend then as I do now. I used to regard it as somewhat matronly (for lack of a better word). But just like many other trends that I've tried, I was made a convert. I now consider it as one of my favorites because it is versatile, timeless and very feminine!

This floral wrap dress from Twinkledeals is my second wrap dress (you can check out my review on Shein's wrap maxi dress here) and my favorite thus far. The periwinkle color and the feminine floral print were what won me over. It is feminine without being too girly; sexy in a subtle way.

If you are like me who used to think twice about whether this trend would work for me, here are five reasons that I think why you should give it a try:

It works for any body type. This style of dress is universally flattering that it would look good on any body type. In fact, the wrap detail around the waist will help to cinch that part of the body to provide a feminine silhouette.

It is versatile. The neckline was one of the main reasons why I initially deviated from wrap dresses. However, I found that there are many neckline styles to choose from, whether you want to go for the modest ones or dare to go with plunging necklines.

It is easy to find the right fit. The wrap is easily adjustable so you won't have any trouble finding the right fit for you.

It can be styled different ways. The neckline detail of the wrap dress provides many opportunities to accessorize with different styles of necklaces.

It is constantly being reinvented. Thus, it never goes out of style. You can get more bang for your buck when you invest in wrap dresses.

Do you love wrap dresses too?
