Romantic Red

OUTFIT DETAILS
Dress (c/o - sold out) / Watch / Shoes / Clutch (this color is sold out) / Earrings

Red and Valentine's Day is one cliche of a combo. However, it is part of a long tradition that has been around for centuries. While I am not big on Valentine's Day celebration, this red wrap midi dress from eShakti has me inspired for a date night look. I love the classic style of a red dress because it is simple yet demands attention. Hence, it is a no-brainer choice for a Valentines Day look. Speaking of classic, my new classic watch from Lord Timepieces is the perfect compliment to this dress. Simple yet classy.

There is no need to try anything fancy with these women's watches from Lord Timepieces. I am wearing the Classic Tan model with an ivory white dial, lined with gold and a tan brown leather strap. It is a simple, no non-sense style that goes with any outfit. You can therefore wear it with a dressy outfit like I have showcased here or you can go for a casual but effortless style.

Ruffles and Rips

Top: Shein
Pants: Shein
Bag: Twinkledeals (c/o)
Earrings: Happiness Boutique (c/o)
Watch: JORD (c/o)

Let me tell you a story about this pair of pants... I have been wanting to buy myself a pair of ripped jeans. But aside from the fact that I couldn't find one I like, my husband was all against it. Hear me out here because I do think he makes some sense, at least for now in our fashion arguments. He thinks it's a stupid idea to buy a pair of jeans at brand new prices that look like they've been damaged or destroyed. Fashion is crazy like that. But I can't tell you how much I love this pair.

Even though my husband would probably laugh at me every time I put this on, I am loving this pair. I love that the ripped detail is more subtly done than others wherein you can literally rip the pants in half by the leg. I decided to pair it with my ankle strap heels to provide a delicate touch to the outfit to provide contrast to the edgy ripped jeans. Since I am strutting a black and white combo (and some nude from the heels), I was aching for color in this outfit. Hence, I tossed in my new saddle bag from Twinkledeals and turquoise earrings from Happiness Boutique.

I think this is the first time in a while that I am loving so many components in one outfit that does not involve a dress. (gives self a pat in the back) What is your thought on ripped jeans?

Concrete Jungle

Dress: Twinkledeals (c/o)
Earrings: Happiness Boutique (c/o)

Leopard is my go-to when it comes to styling animal prints. It is a classic but exotic print that can add instant oomph to an outfit. But cheetah print is slowly gaining the attention of everyone else in the fashion world as the next best print to leopard. This dress from Twinkledeals quickly won me over. I love that the cheetah print is subtly done so I was able to pull off this semi-glam look.

When it comes to styling statement dresses with bold prints, I think it is easy to get away with wearing minimal accessories and jewelry. I tried to let the dress be the "star" of this outfit by styling it minimally; albeit the statement earrings from Happiness Boutique added that glam factor it needed. Plus, this black purse from Deux Lux worked beautifully with this glam outfit inspiration. For that added glam effect, I finished off the look with messy waves and MAC craving for a hint of berry to my lips.

Lace Sensation

Top: Shein
Jeans: Lee Jeans
Bag: Kate Spade
Shoes: Mendrez (similar)
Earrings: Happiness Boutique (c/o)
Watch: Rumbatime

The first time I saw this top on Shein, I knew I had to have it. The color and the lace were two of the reasons why I wanted it so bad. It also comes with a flowy fit and the criss-cross back as a bonus! When it came in the mail, it was exactly as I had pictured it to be. For less than $20, it was a great deal.

If you can remember, I featured this top as one of my wishlist picks here. It took too long to arrive, which is the only qualm I have with shopping from Shein right now. Aside from that, I am very happy with this purchase. The blush tones from the Kate Spade tote and my pumps added a beautiful contrast in color. These two colors (navy and blush) are some of my favorite colors to wear right now.

If you've had your eye on this top, too, hesitate no more! I purchased it for $17.99 and now it is priced further down to $15.39!
