My quest for the perfect summer dress has come to an end. It's no secret that I love wearing a little white dress for summer; hence, I could not pass up this beauty when I saw it on the Chicwish website. There is an ethereal quality with ivory or white dresses in general, but the simple details such as the crochet finish and the cutouts all made a beautiful dress look even better.

Chicwish has always been known to stock up on the most feminine and chic pieces. That is why it was dream come true for me to collaborate with this brand. Since the dress is complete on its own, I did away with the statement accessories save for this druzy earrings from Twinkledeals. The dress is all there is to it when it comes to making a chic statement for summer. In fact, I love this dress so much I have worn this at least once every week for the past two weeks. In both of those times, I've worn it with my lace-up espadrilles and a strappy sandal. It also speaks to the versatility of this dress - so that is another win in my book!

There is something about me and white that do not go together... I can't EVER seem to wear white without staining it. Hence, I've tried to avoid wearing white whenever I can but this white lace dress from Shein is looking so perfect for summer that I couldn't say no.

To be honest, I was looking for a little white dress to add to my summer wardrobe. It has been a while since I've bought or worn a white dress (except for my wedding). And this dress comes with raving reviews, too, so I figured it might be a good time to buy a new one. True enough, it was as beautiful as was shown on the website. The fabric is cool, light and fresh - just what I wanted for summer since the heat in the Philippines is insane. 

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a white dress. The fabric has some stretch to it, which is always a bonus when shopping online! I tossed in my old reliables as far as accessories are concerned like my JORD Sully watch and this striped tote (perfect as a beach tote too).

The Little White Dress

LBDs or little black dresses are an integral part of my closet. The boyf once told me that I am always drawn to bold colors like hot pink or red. He is SO wrong! Truth is, I always relied on my LBDs and LWDs when I want to keep things simple yet sophisticated. I am not going to lie - these little dresses have never disappointed me.

This skater style dress fits the bill. It is one of those dresses that will not catch your attention when it is on the hanger. But when I put it on, I was quite blown away. The fit was perfect, the cut hugged my body just right, and the texture on the fabric is high quality. What else can you look for in a dress, right?

I always had a penchant for simple dresses that can stand on their own. There is no need to dress them up to look good.
