The off-shoulder is unquestionably the biggest trend of the season. I am a huge fan of this trend - there is basically no off-shoulder piece (dress or top) that I've seen that I did not love. So I decided that I should try it out for myself, too. I was lucky enough to find this gorgeous floral off-shoulder top from Shein. I knew that if I was going to get one that it would be a floral print and seeing that this was less than $10, I couldn't have added this to my cart fast enough.

I wanted for the top to be the focal point of this look so I wore it with my classic skinny jeans, a basic black tote and my reliable JORD watch. There is something about me and white that do not go together... I can't EVER seem to wear white without staining it. Hence, I've tried to avoid wearing white whenever I can but this white lace dress from Shein is looking so perfect for summer that I couldn't say no.

To be honest, I was looking for a little white dress to add to my summer wardrobe. It has been a while since I've bought or worn a white dress (except for my wedding). And this dress comes with raving reviews, too, so I figured it might be a good time to buy a new one. True enough, it was as beautiful as was shown on the website. The fabric is cool, light and fresh - just what I wanted for summer since the heat in the Philippines is insane. 

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a white dress. The fabric has some stretch to it, which is always a bonus when shopping online! I tossed in my old reliables as far as accessories are concerned like my JORD Sully watch and this striped tote (perfect as a beach tote too).

Summer Crochet

The crochet trend has piqued my interest for a while now. However, I haven't jumped on it until now. This pink crochet skirt from Newchic looked like the ultimate skirt for the summer. I paired it with the striped crop top (also from Newchic) to create an easy, breezy look.

I dressed up this casual look with my Rae suede flats from Sam Edelman. Oh, I can't tell you how much I love Sam Edelman. Their sandals had been on my radar for a while now. But when I found this pair of suede flats in my favorite color, I couldn't say no. This would be my summer outfit inspiration for you using the crochet trend, but I have to tell you there are several other ways to style the skirt. I know because I've worn it plenty of times since I got it on the mail. #sorrynotsorry
