Whenever I'm headed to a weekend travel (or even a sleepover), I used to over-pack! No, let me correct that, I over-pack wherever I go. I like to have one or two extra outfits, just in case. But I am slowly learning the art of packing smart (although I still have a long way to go!). Packing essential items like a maxi dress, flats, and basic tees I can mix and match is going to ease up my packing woes.

With a weekend getaway in sight, I have decided to come up with this look. A maxi dress is always an essential in my book, especially for chic travel outfits. Therefore, I decided to top it with this denim shirt from Shein to make the outfit look effortless chic without compromising comfort. My new duffel bag from Herschel also makes for the ideal weekend getaway bag! It might not look big enough for a getaway but it is quite roomy on the inside.
