Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas

Have you started planning where to spend your Valentine's Day? Apart from trying to figure out where to go and what to do, the most important question that most women face is this: what to wear?

Last year, the boyf and I went on a bowling date followed by dinner at one of my favorite restaurants - Swiss Deli. This time out we're looking at possibly a simple dinner date, as to where we haven't quite figured out yet. Thus, I expect to wear something dressy and probably slightly feminine.

Valentine's Day Gift Guide: Shoes For Her

Time flies, doesn't it? Seems just like a few days ago when I heralded in 2013 with some preparations for the New Year's eve and looked back on some of the best memories from 2012. And already, everyone's talking about the next big holiday coming up - Valentine's Day. Personally, it is not too big of a deal for me and the boyf. We keep it simple with a dinner date! No fancy dates or gifts, whatsoever. But you don't have to be like me, LOL.

Beach Glamour

Fash alert! I've already started shopping for a new set of swimwear and maxi dresses that I can wear for this upcoming summer. I know... I always like to plan ahead. And with, undoubtedly, a slew of summer events and gatherings lined up soon, I have to be fash-ready at all times!

Even when I'm on the beach or on a summer outing, I still keep things girly. Y'know, I like wearing dresses for spring and summer. Proof? Here are some of the looks that I sported over the last few summer or during beach outings...

Spring 2013 Must-Haves

Spring time is here and it's a couple of months until Summer here in the Philippines. To say I'm excited is an understatement. It's no secret that summer is my favorite season. Hot weather, beach... and all these associations with summer, nothing inspires thoughts of leisure and relaxation more than the season does.

Hence, my shopping radar is already high up when it comes to dressing up for spring and summer. I'm one of the firm believers that you have to dress for the occasion. And while my closet is brimming with spring/summer essentials, there are lots of exciting new trends this year that I can't wait to try.

Here are some of the items that I think would be a great addition to any woman's closet for the spring/summer 2013. Lots of pastel, mint, peach, and other colors that is a throwback to the season. My Birthday Gift

On my birthday, the boyf asked me to pick anything I want as he will be shopping for me. I naturally got excited and we went from boutique to boutique in search of the perfect gift. Actually, I already had an idea in mind coming in and it was the perfect opportunity to buy exactly the blazer I want as he offered to pay for it (I love birthdays, LOL!). 

I finally found what I want at Mags, which is a great steal as it is priced at only about PhP800 ($20)! The sea green color draws attention to itself and I love the leopard lining on the inside and at the edge of both sleeves.
