Celebrity Fash: Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried is one of the hottest young stars in Hollywood today. When she starred next to Megan Fox in Jennifer's Body, nobody really knew who Amanda was. She seemed to be destined for the role of the supporting characters but little did we know that she was out to make a name for herself. Several film roles later and the world was starting to take notice of her talent. But while she was getting more and more movie role offers, she was also becoming far more visible in the red carpet scene. From Oscars to SAG Awards to the Golden Globes, Amanda has had quite a few appearances over the past couple of years.

Blue Skater Dress

Skater dress is my new obsession. To those who aren't familiar with what a skate dress is, it is a modernized version of an A-line dress. These are gorgeous! The A-line refers to the silhouette that is formed by the cut around the middle waist that makes it appear narrower in that midsection. Meanwhile, a flare at the bottom of the skirt resembles the ones that skaters wear, thus the name. 

I recently spotted a skater dress of my favorite color (blue!) and so I knew I had to get it. I was ecstatic when I tried it on and the size was just right. I sported this new dress when the boyf and I went on a movie date for Iron Man 3. By the way, loved the movie!

Summer Escape

 

For weeks, the boyf and I had been planning this summer escape. Since traveling to Palawan, we haven't been to the beach yet and I was aching for a getaway. And so this recent weekend, we finally gave in and started calling resorts we can visit. With May already here, the weather has been hotter than ever and even if it meant getting a bit sun-tanned, I really didn't mind because I was longing for this escape.

Met Gala 2013 Red Carpet Fashion Report

The 2013 Met Gala is one of this year's biggest fashion night with all eyes fixed on celebrities strutting the red carpet. Hence, it is only but fitting to come up with my own list of the best of the night. You can check them out below:

 

And my best dressed for the night (drum roll please....), goes to Amanda Seyfried. Okay, this isn't really steam punk. But how can you not love this dress? My jaw literally dropped when I saw her with this dress for the first time. The makeup and hair is also the perfect choice for this one. What do you think?
