When I am made to pick between a monochrome vs a colorful outfit, I'd pick color without hesitation. I am of the opinion that the more colorful an outfit is, the better. Life is so much fun when there is color involved, agree?

Hence, this is how this look came about... I love this blue pleated maxi skirt because, well, I simply am addicted to the color. Apparently, the vibrant blue color isn't enough that I went for the red cami top from Forever 21 to pair it with. I bought several of this top from Forever 21 in various color options - these are such staple pieces and are essential to have in your closet. I bought them in basic colors for easy mixing and matching.

I'm all smiles in this photo because, obviously, the burst of color makes me happy. Do you love colorful outfits too? Or are you a monochrome fan?

Endless Summer

When I saw this romper, all I can think of is summer. The beautiful floral print, the pom pom details and the soft and breezy fabric made me think so. And while I cannot make summer return or come any faster, I just thought that wearing this would give me a sense of summer all throughout the year.

It's official! Rompers are the next best thing to dresses when you want to be comfortable without compromising style. These two are super easy to wear on-the-go. Simply slip it on and you're good to go. I love that both are versatile enough to be worn with sandals (sometimes I can get lazy and wear slippers or flip flops too) or heels (for a more dressed up look). This is also my first item from House of Harlow 1960 and I am highly impressed. I will definitely be checking out more of their items, especially since they have a very attractive price point too.

Happiness in a Floral Maxi

I've never been more excited about a post than this one... it features two of my favorite fashion pieces: floral and maxi! I've had plenty of maxi dresses but there is nothing that I love more than this one from Oasap. Blue Floral

This summer, several trends like off-shoulder styles, fringe or pom poms, and tribal prints emerged to offer women easy to wear styles suited for the hot weather. But when all else fails, I turn to floral to create an effortless summer style. The good thing about wearing floral is that it is a timeless pattern, much like stripes, and it will never disappoint in the fashion department. I guess floral is a universally loved pattern (correct me if I am wrong), but what is there not to love about floral really? This dress in particular really drew me in with its vibrant floral prints against my favorite color. The quality is a welcome surprise given its price point. I would definitely pay more for this quality. The material is also a great choice in hot weather because it is fresh and light. This look is my quintessential outfit for the summer time. I paired the dress with my La Mer Cantaloupe Arizona watch for a pop of color, along with my pastel nails. And the gorgeous bowknot crystal earrings from Soufeel provided the right amount of glam.
