Blogger Boss: 2017 Must-Haves

Since I am admittedly an OCD, I do like to keep things organized. I plan my week ahead of time. I always want to make sure that my works are finished at least an hour ahead of deadline. I can say that I am the master of organization when it comes to work and blogging. Hence, I have listed a few things that will help keep me organized this new year. Check out as you might find a few things to help you get organized and achieve your blogging goals for the new year:

1 - ban.do Sticky Note Set
2 - Rifle Paper Co Notebook Set
3 - Kate Spade New York Gold Dots 2017 Planner
4 - Kate Spade Pencil Set
5 - ban.do Best Year Ever Wall Calendar

What organizational item do you rely on to help you keep track of your tasks?

Top 10 Favorites from 2014

In a few hours, the calendar will officially turn from 2014 to 2015! I had a few up's and down's in the year 2014, but in hindsight, I could still say that this was a blessed year for me. I had several opportunities that came my way in my professional career not just in my stint with fashion blogging. Join me as I look back on my favorite outfit posts over the past year (in no particular order)!

Going Bohemian: Dressve
This is one of my favorite looks because I really loved the quality of the dress. To be honest, when I ordered this item from Dressve, I was not expecting much (given that it is my first order and I did not know what to expect). However, the product did not disappoint. The print, fabric and quality of the sewing was on-point. More importantly, this dress made me love maxi dresses even more.

Sultry Summer
Speaking of maxi dresses, this is another favorite of mine, which is why this post made it to the list. First off, I love the color of the dress. It is also comfortable and easy to style. What other reason/s do you need to love a dress?

Fiery
Aside from maxi dresses, a little red dress is another obsession of mine in 2014. I just knew that there was no way this bodycon dress was not making it to my closet.

Getting Glam: Persunmall
I have bought quite a few items from Persunmall but this dress has to be my favorite. I love the black and white combo and the simplicity of the cut. I also ordered this dress along with this green statement necklace and it turned out to be the perfect accessory for the dress!

The Little White Dress
It's no secret that I love LBDs. But I found another thing that I love equally - little white dresses! This one is one of my all-time favorite dresses and its simplicity belies its style appeal!

Tribal Maxi Dress
I have made quite a few purchases off of Sheinside website to date but this dress will always hold a dear spot in my heart. I love cobalt so when I found this dress, I quickly added it to my shopping cart. I've worn it a few times and will no doubt serve its purpose well with me.

eShakti Dress
Again, my obsession with red dresses is evident with this pick. I loved this halter top maxi dress from eShakti and the fact that I got to customize every detail of this dress - from the length of the hem to the sizing!

Floral Dress
This was my first time to partner with Sheinside and had fun styling this dress. In the end, I wanted the dress to speak for itself. The gorgeous floral print inspired thoughts of summer so we opted to have a shoot by the pool.

February Style Remix: Houndstooth
As promised, this won't be the last time you'd be seeing of this skirt. Houndstooth is one of my most favorite prints. Ever.

Vintage Lace
What better way to end this list than with an LBD. This is one of my newest LBDs and already has made it's way to my favorite list. The simplicity of the design and the unexpected touch of lace at the back makes it a sure stunner!

A Look Back on Holidays 2013

Can you believe the holidays are over? The past three weeks leading into the Christmas and New Year's celebration happened as a blur. However, that does not mean that I was unable to make the most of the holidays and take it in. In most cases, that is the only break that we get with a super hectic schedule throughout the year. At the same time, we do not want it to stop because it holds dear memories to all of us, whether current or past holidays.

I feel the same way. Even though the Philippines is known to have the longest Christmas celebration in the world (heads up - celebration or commemoration of the Christmas season embarks on September), it still does not feel long enough. I credit most of that to the value that my family has placed on celebrating the holidays and what it truly means - not just the gifts and the feast! It is a celebration of blessings that we had received throughout the year.

And so, in place of my usual weekly posts on Instagram, I am taking this opportunity to highlight my favorite holidays 2013 memories via Instagram or otherwise.

 Giving Gifts to Loved Ones

Buying gifts has become a holiday tradition in the family. I like to spoil my loved ones particularly my nephew and my niece. But over the years, my family had branched out. We started wrapping gifts for relatives as well. We then put them together under the tree to make it look more festive at home. But this year, I also got my nephew a Christmas sock (due to his insistence) and he was very anxious about digging his hands into the sock for his Christmas surprise. Love it!

PS - Also brought a surprise to my boyf's family - a dozen cupcakes with adorable Christmas fondant cupcake toppers!

Lunch Dates Tradition

In the 7 years we've been together, we always cherish the moment we get to spend holidays together. This is already our 8th together and yet we still continue on with our tradition - lunch dates. The Christmas and New Year's Eve are spent with our respective families, that's why. But we still love the quality time we get to spend together during this special time of the year.

Quality Time Off

A refreshing drink. Play time with my nephew and niece. My favorite show. What else can I ask for?

Beef Lasagna
Chicken Salad Croissant

Celebrating Relationship Milestones

Over the holidays, we celebrated our 85th month together! It's crazy how we just celebrated our 7th anniversary and a month had already gone by... but this certainly called for celebration! We also got click-happy over these adorable display of Sanrio characters!

New Year, New Start

2014 is a brand new start for me. I have plenty of goals set up and it literally signals a fresh start to make those goals happen. To say I am excited is an understatement.

If you want to see bits and pieces of my life (of which I share a few moments of), be sure to stay connected with me on Instagram. You can find me here.

What's your favorite memory of the 2013 holidays?

Kicking Off New Year

It seemed like just yesterday when I blogged about the new year and looked back on some of my favorites that I shared here on my blog. I can't believe that we are about to enter the third week of January 2013! Time flies, cliche as it sounds but you have to live with it or else you will miss out on a lot! I haven't had much time to sit down and do some more writing (than I was supposed to) because I was busy catching up on friends, going back to the gym, and working, of course.

Bowling with Friends

During the holiday break, I tried bowling again - this time with my friends & E. Everybody's had a pretty hectic schedule with our respective families but it was fun to squeeze in a few hours to have dinner and enjoy a few games of bowling. It was clearly as fun as last time! Would love to do it again! But yeah, me and those ugly shoes meet again!

 Back to the Gym

I have an upcoming vacation to Puerto Princesa City, Palawan and the boyf had created a workout plan for me. I need to get my beach body ready by then. Summer is also a few months away here in the Phils so I need to work double on that, too. But no complaints - loving my workout. I can't think of a better way to energize after a day's work! Here I am after one of my sessions wearing my blue sheer top - yes, I have lots of this color in my closet!

2013 People's Choice Awards

Yesterday, the 2013 People's Choice Awards was held in Los Angeles and it was a star-studded event. Glad that my favorites Christina Aguilera and the Big Bang Theory got their own respective awards as People's Voice and Best TV Comedy, respectively. I also enjoyed browsing through the red carpet fashion at the event and here are some of my favorites!

How's it going where you are? Having a great new year so far?
