When it comes to shopping for dresses, I have two go-to websites: Shein and Shopbop. Shein is my first option because I like to shop on a budget without compromising my options and the quality of the items. However, Shopbop is my guilty pleasure. It has the best selection of designer items that are unbeatable in quality - plus that 3-day worldwide shipping cannot be beat!

When looking for easy breezy dresses, you won't be disappointed with these two options. Check out my top picks for easy breezy dresses that will keep you cool while looking chic:

Fashionmia Dresses for Less Than $30

Plus Size Prom Dresses

Fashionmia is one of those companies that I worked with while I am just starting out on my blog. I held back initially at the thought about working with them, but I decided to give it a try. There were (if I'm being honest) a few concerns but I am happy with the overall shopping experience. It is a good place to shop for trendy pieces if you do not want to splurge too much (especially on seasonal items). But I found that they have a few selection of essential closet items like dresses for women. This women's clothing online shop specializes in dresses for every style and taste! In fact, they even have a plus size line too.

From their collection of stylish dresses at Fashionmia, I'm going to showcase two of my top category picks: skater dresses and maxi dresses. The best part is that all of my picks are priced below $30. If you want to shop more options, you can check out the full options of dresses here: http://www.fashionmia.com/dresses-53/

Fash Fave: Drop Waist

The easiest way to make me swoon is to show me a photo of a drop waist dress. I can't explain my obsession towards this trend but a simple detail like a flounce around the hem can definitely pull some strings in my heart (over-dramatization needed). It could be the combination of simple elegance with subtle details? Or the flirty but fun addition the drop waist detail adds to the dress? Whatever it is, I can't help but swoon. In fact, I've collated some of my favorites from Shopbop that I hope would magically find their way to my closet (although I've added a couple of these to my cart):

Suncoo Celeste Dress / Alice + Olivia Turtleneck Dress
RED Valentino Dress / Velvet Salome Dress
Victoria Beckham Dress / Black Halo Brooklyn Dress
One Teaspoon Pinky Dress / Clu Tank Dress
Black Halo Mini Dress / Cooper & Ella Gemma Dress

Are you as obsessed as I am with these drop waist dresses? Also, don't forget to share with me your favorites!

Wedding Guest Dresses

Although it's pretty hard to admit, I am on that stage in my life wherein my friends are either getting married or having a baby! It's unbelievable but I love it. I am so ready to leave my 20's behind and look forward to the next chapter of my life. After having recently tied the knot, I have grown a deeper appreciation for being invited to a wedding. Since we had an intimate wedding, we decided to invite only the most special and closest people to our hearts. Thus, when I do get invited for a wedding, I always try to make an effort about what I wear. It is the modest thing to do. If you're attending any wedding soon, I'd help you pick out what to wear.

Here are some of my recommendations for wedding guest dresses according to the theme:

Formal Wedding

Black Maxi Dress / Royal Blue Maxi Dress / Red Lace Maxi Dress
eShakti Virginia Dress / Peach Midi Dress / Ivory Lace Midi Dress

Semi-Formal Wedding

One Shoulder Bodycon Dress / Light Blue Midi Dress / Yumi Kim Silk Dress
Beach or Casual Wedding

Ruffle Cami Dress / Floral Maxi Dress / Yumi Kim Floral Dress

Which of these wedding guest dresses would you pick out?

Midi vs Maxi + Featured Blogger at WIWT

What is a better choice of clothing to wear during the hot spring and summer days than dresses? Personally, I am all about maxi and midi dresses. When it comes to style, these two types of dresses are effortlessly chic and stylish. But the unparalleled level of comfort is something worth noting.

Shops like Forever 21 have a host of these dresses to choose from. If you’re ready to stock up on new maxi and midi dresses, I’ve got quite a hefty selection for you. But I’d like to take this poll: are you into maxi or midi dresses?

Wishlist: Spring/Summer Dresses

At the start of 2016, the El Nino phenomenon has brought on summer-like heat in January. Hence, I was excited to get an early start on summer shopping because I predict temperature will continue its rise in the coming months. With higher temperature, my natural inclination is to go for light and comfortable dresses. I am looking for dresses made with light, soft and breathable fabric. I've listed a few designers who manufacture summer and spring dresses that would come in handy with the scorching heat:

9seed Dresses
Free People Dresses
Joie Dresses
Mara Hoffman Dresses
ONE by PinkStitch Dresses
Pia Pauro Dresses
SUNDRESS Dresses
Susana Monaco Dresses

Which of these designers fit into your spring/summer style? Don't forget to share which pieces you are going to add to your summer wardrobe!
